One thing that's surprising me about working on a book:
The writing is rarely the hardest part.
The hardest part is making sense of dozens of interviews, reports, ideas, and perspectives that don't neatly fit together.
Information is abundant.
Meaning is scarce.
That's where the real work begins.

From handwritten notes to a completed manuscript.
Three months ago, I began a personal writing project to better understand the life, leadership, and philosophy of education of Dr. Indu Shahani—someone who has profoundly influenced my own journey as a student and a leader.
What followed were months of reading, reflection, note-taking, and writing—one hour at a time.
Recently, I had the privilege of presenting the manuscript, The Phoenix Leader: Dr. Indu Shahani, ATLAS & the Future of Learning, to Dr. Shahani herself.
As a former scholarship student, this was more than a writing project. It was a tribute from a student to his teacher.
Deeply grateful for her encouragement, generous words, and for the lessons that continue to shape me.
🙏
