भारत में वर्तमान में एलपीजी गैस की कोई कमी नहीं है, लेकिन सरकार ने भविष्य की सुरक्षा और आपूर्ति को सुव्यवस्थित बनाए रखने के लिए सावधानीवश गैस रिफिल बुकिंग हेतु 25 दिनों की समय सीमा निर्धारित कर दी है। सरकार का उद्देश्य प्रबंधन सुधारना था, किंतु इस नियम के लागू होते ही देश भर की गैस एजेंसियों पर मची अफरातफरी ने एक बहुत बड़े घोटाले की कलई खोलकर रख दी है।

सच्चाई यह है कि गैस एजेंसी मालिकों ने एक व्यवस्थित सिंडिकेट बना रखा था। ये लोग आम घरेलू उपभोक्ताओं के नाम पर, उनकी जानकारी के बिना ही स्वयं घरेलू गैस रिफिल बुक कर लेते थे और उन सिलेंडरों को ऊंचे दामों पर होटल, रेस्टोरेंट और औद्योगिक इकाइयों जैसे व्यावसायिक संस्थानों पर 'ब्लैक' में बेच रहे थे। जब तक बुकिंग की कोई समय सीमा नहीं थी, उपभोक्ता को पता ही नहीं चलता था कि उसके हिस्से की गैस कहीं और बेची जा चुकी है। किंतु अब जैसे ही 25 दिन की शर्त लागू हुई, और जब वास्तविक उपभोक्ता ने अपना सिलेंडर बुक करने का प्रयास किया, तो सिस्टम ने "Already Booked" दिखाकर बुकिंग रिजेक्ट कर दी। उपभोक्ता हैरान और परेशान कि उसने तो काफी समय यानि विगत एक महीने से सिलेंडर लिया ही नहीं तो फिर यह बुकिंग रिजेक्ट कैसे हो गई...?

उपभोक्ता पैनिक में आकर गैस एजेंसियों के बाहर बुकिंग अथवा सिलेंडर के लिए लाईन लगाकर खड़े हो गए...!

ऐसी स्थिति में एजेंसी मालिक मुंह छिपाकर भागने लगे या वहां हंगामा खड़ा होने लगा...!

क्यों...?

क्योंकि गैस कंपनियों के सिस्टम/सर्वर पर उपस्थित डाटा के अनुसार उपभोक्ता के सिलेंडर को तो गैस एजेंसी मालिकों ने बेच कर खा लिया था।

यह स्पष्ट है कि भारत में गैस की कोई किल्लत नहीं है, बल्कि यह कृत्रिम संकट इन बिचौलियों यानि गैस एजेंसी मालिकों की काली करतूतों का परिणाम है। सरकार के इस एक निर्णय ने घरेलू गैस की अवैध बिक्री के इस बड़े रैकेट को सार्वजनिक कर दिया है।

यदि आप भी इस समस्या से त्रस्त हैं या आपके नाम पर भी घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर की अवैध बुकिंग करके गायब कर दी गई है, तो चुप न बैठें और तुरंत संबंधित विभाग में शिकायत दर्ज कराएं।
