The Foreign-Funded Sabotage of India’s $7 Trillion Dream!

In 2014, an Intelligence Bureau report submitted to the PMO named foreign-funded networks like Greenpeace, Amnesty International, ActionAid, and Cordaid for orchestrating campaigns that slashed 2 to 3% off India's GDP growth every year.

Here are the specific local groups and activist fronts that stalled India’s key mega-projects:

> POSCO Steel ($12B): Stalled by Posco Pratirodh Sangram Samiti (PPSS) (Abhay Sahu) & NAPM. Result: Lost $12B FDI & 800,000 jobs.

> Sterlite Copper: Shut down by Anti-Sterlite Action Committees & activist Nityanand Jayaraman. Result: Turned India into a net copper importer, draining $3B/year in foreign exchange.

> INO Neutrino Observatory: Blocked by NGO Poovulagin through court stays. Result: China stole the global lead in particle physics.

> Sethusamudram Canal: Halted by activist fronts & court stays. Result: Indian ships waste 400 extra nautical miles & 36 hours sailing around Sri Lanka.

> Kudankulam Nuclear Plant: Blocked by PMANE (S.P. Udayakumar) & foreign-funded NGO accounts. Result: Years of severe industrial power shortages across South India.

> Ratnagiri Refinery ($44B): Stalled by Barsu-Solgaon Refinery Virodhi Samiti. Result: $44B foreign energy investment blocked.

The same activist networks protested Pokhran-II. Had the government caved to figures like Arundhati Roy and Vrinda Karat, India would be defenseless today against hostile nuclear neighbors.

This is why strict FCRA enforcement is vital for national sovereignty.

When I first came to India, the space industry was closed to private players.

The most well-known "startup" at that time was TeamIndus. Skyroot didn't exist.

A year later, in 2018, Skyroot was founded. Private companies in India couldn't launch rockets yet, but Pawan and Bharath forged ahead regardless, optimistic that liberalisation would happen someday.

Then, in 2020, it did. Indian companies were finally free to compete with American, Russian, European, and Chinese startups. They could build their own launch vehicles. And satellites. At an undisclosed location in the United States, Elon swallowed hard.

I was publishing videos about Indian companies on YouTube at this point. I remember thinking, "Making content about these spacetech developments is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Now, ~6 years later, Skyroot has gifted India with the biggest white pill of all time. While the world watched, a team of ~1,000+ Indian optimists (with an average age of 28) flawlessly executed an orbital rocket launch.

No private space company IN THE WORLD has ever done this on their first try. As I write this, I have goosebumps. I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to witness this firsthand. I also feel inspired by the resilience, ingenuity, and wherewithal of the entire Skyroot team.

The next chapter of India's space journey has officially begun.
