Stubble burning has been reported from Tarn Taran, once again exposing the failure of the Bhagwant Mann government and Arvind Kejriwal.

Punjab still lacks effective stubble-management on the ground, and the pollution doesn’t stop at its borders neighbouring states are forced to bear the consequences too.

After losing Delhi, a frustrated Arvind Kejriwal is now trying to settle political scores with Delhiites by poisoning the air they breathe.

It is shameful to see politics being played even with people’s right to breathe.

While we are working day and night in Delhi, bringing in new technologies and finding new solutions to clean our air, their failure in Punjab is putting the breath of both Punjabis and Delhiites at stake.

ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਸਾੜਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਨਾਕਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਜੱਗ-ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਲਈ ਠੋਸ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੀਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੁਗਤਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਿਸਾਬ-ਕਿਤਾਬ ਚੁਕਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਲਿਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਾਕਾਮੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

केजरीवाल जी ने कहा था, एक साल दे दो, पंजाब में पराली जलना बंद करवा दूंगा। साल बीतते गए। किसान मदद का इंतजार करते रहे और ‘आप’दा सरकार उन्हें पराली जलाने की मजबूरी से निकालने के बजाय उनके हाल पर छोड़कर बैठी रही।

तरनतारन में फिर पराली जलनी शुरू हो गई है।

केंद्र सरकार ने पैसा दिया, मशीनें दीं, सब्सिडी दी, फिर भी भगवंत मान जी और केजरीवाल जी की ‘आप’दा सरकार जमीन पर व्यवस्था तक नहीं कर सकी। संसाधन पूरे मिले, लेकिन नीयत, इच्छाशक्ति और जवाबदेही तीनों फेल हैं।

दिल्ली की जनता ने केजरीवाल जी को नकार दिया। क्या अब वो उस करारी हार की खीझ दिल्लीवालों पर निकाल रहे हैं?

हम दिल्ली की हवा सुधारने के लिए दिन-रात नए समाधान जमीन पर उतार रहे हैं। उधर पंजाब में पराली की आग ने ही ‘आप’दा सरकार की पोल खोल दी है। न तैयारी है, न समाधान। बस झूठे वादे और किसानों के साथ धोखा।
