🚨 Big move by the PMO! Directs Union Health Ministry to take strict action against medical colleges for non-payment of stipends to undergrad interns, PG residents, and senior residents. Over 60 of 500+ colleges have failed to pay and with FMGs this number is 400+, leaving students working 20-hour days without compensation. Dr. KV Babu’s (@drbabukv)RTI exposes the crisis—yet the National Medical Commission (@NMC_BHARAT)remains silent.

Maharashtra’s FMGs are stuck in a frustrating wait for internship starts, while most states have already begun!
We cleared FMGE, but delays in seat allocation are stalling our careers.
Months of uncertainty risk our eligibility for NEET-PG 2026, leaving dreams in limbo. The National Medical Commission and state authorities must act swiftly to ensure timely internship allotments. Other states are moving forward—why is Maharashtra lagging?
FMGs deserve clarity and fairness, not endless delays. We’re calling on @NMC_BHARAT and @CMOMaharashtra to prioritize this issue and release schedules NOW. Our future as doctors hangs in the balance!

Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) encounter significant career roadblocks due to delays in starting mandatory internships in India. States like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan,Maharashtra..etc often take 4-5 months after result declaration to allocate internship seats, stalling professional growth. These delays exacerbate financial and mental burdens.
A streamlined process, with internships starting within 2 months of releasing scorecard, would mitigate these issues, enabling FMGs to contribute to India’s healthcare system sooner.
The National Medical Commission (@NMC_BHARAT ) can enforce uniform timelines, standardize documentation, and coordinate with state medical councils to eliminate bureaucratic bottlenecks.
This reform would reduce stress, enhance career momentum, and address workforce shortages.

The NMC (@NMC_BHARAT) should issue a final notice based on all previous notices regarding FMGs. Over the years, multiple notices have been issued for FMGs, leading to confusion among various state councils and implicating different rules in different states.
The document should encompass details regarding the internship, stipend, FMGL regulations, and eligibility criteria.
These regulations may be referred as THE FINAL NOTICE for FMGs, based on all prior notifications.
If @NMC_BHARAT needs help with this, I can summarize all of this in just 5-6 hours, which will save time and effort for FMGs students and state councils, ultimately leading to a better future for FMGs & health care.

🚨 @telegram, please investigate the misuse of the copyright complaint system. A coaching institute is targeting our groups/channels with false claims, despite no copyrighted content being posted. They do not respond when contacted. This is affecting genuine educational content.
This is the point I always tell.
The attack on doctors is because the patients are perverts
No amount of explanation helps
Many doctors, who have not yet been attacked, assume that they are masters of communication and only those doctors who lack communication skills get attacked
Sadly, it is not the truth
This article written long ago gets stronger day by day https://t.co/0hm9JVKMtT
61 yrs male, massive heart attack 11am, BP not recordable in ER, resuscitated, performed emergency Angioplasty & stenting, pt unstable, explained to family hr by hr, stood by pt all day-passed away at night- 20-30 drunk mob attacked me and my staff @CCBBangalore@IndianMedAssn
While MCI was in office ,once a doctor is registered with the SMC ,it is automatically reflected in the IMR
Now even after the 're-verification' of the Degree & Regn certificates ,NMC is asking silly questions !
Indian Docs deserve competent regulatory bodies !

🚨 Today evening a fellow Doctor, Anismita Basu booked a bike through inDrive app. Due to the driver's delay, she cancelled the booking. What followed was shocking:
👉 The driver called 17 times, harassing her. Sent an obscene video on WhatsApp.
👉 Called her and used vulgar language and threatened her saying, "If I see you in the area, I'll skin you alive."
👉 InDrive authorities responded with indifference, saying, "Our representative will contact you soon."
👉 We strongly condemn this incident, Indrive's irresponsible behavior and their employees' mentality.
👉 This mindset breeds audacity, resulting in incidents like " Another RGKar incident will happen" (RG Kar করে দেবো) - A hospital name used as a threat. We demand exemplary punishment for the driver and better background checks from inDrive to prevent such incidents.
Let's continue fighting for a safer, more just society ✊🏻

This is such a terrible take. I understand the need for engagement farming, but this is just spreading disinformation and just plain harmful for the sake of a few likes and RTs. The ICUs I've worked in have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. #MEDTwitter
