pitting women against each other because you don't have what they have🥰
you can't compare yourself to baby dolls, you also can't compare yourself to BINI pitting them is the only choice you have, lol.
it's just sad kasi kahit yung kasikatan nila ngayon domestically was different nung 2024 when they first peaked. blooms nalang talaga nagdadala ngayon :// and it's frustrating bc they have the talent and skills to be BIGGER, but it's their management that's holding them back
I’m only coming back alive after telling my partner what has been going on in the fandom. She’s not a Bloom, but a very concerned Marketing Executive. She handles big trade shows here in England, so she’s more well-versed in this stuff than I am.
While she admires the girls for their obvious talent—when she finally saw both weeks of their Coachella performances, all she could tell me was that: “Their management really let them down that hard, huh?”
From the bare stage to Week 1’s messy camera work (from a coordinator’s standpoint), she said that it was a mess and a lost chance to highlight that this was THE FIRST Filipino act ever to set foot on Coachella.
I even told her about the budgeting issues BINI’s “management” apparently had, and all she could tell me was that it was bullshit.
“They weren’t invited to Coachella in a week. It must’ve been what? Months or let’s say half a year since they knew about their invitation to Coachella, and no one in their marketing thought or planned for production costs and scale? Of building a case to eager sponsors who would be sponsoring the first-ever Filipino act to perform at Coachella?
That should have been their selling point.
Don’t get me wrong, the girls were perfect. Their outfit team shelled out, and the performance was flawless. I can’t say anything bad about them as performers, which is why I saved my opinion until Week 2, but that stage really let them down.
To me, all it said was someone in their production or coordination team went and thought: “Okay na yan”, because that was what that stage looked like to me. Don’t even tell me that they only got to see their stage on the day? Yeah, well, Coachella has been going on for years. They could’ve researched what that stage looked like from previous performers. There are layouts of the Mojave stage online—that’s the coordinator’s fault for not taking the initiative to do research and planning.
It was obvious that their Week 2 performance improved within a short span of time, yet they couldn’t talk to Coachella’s camera people before their first performance? Also, the visual art and graphics were definitely changed, so they must’ve seen some feedback. But why wait? Why settle for mediocre stage design when your artists are giving their all in their performance? That was the glaring disconnect that stood out for me while watching their Week 1 set.
And if their budgeting was really down the drain, then something is very wrong. You’re supposed to still allocate money to whatever show or event you’re supposed to represent. And god, they are the first Filipinos to do that, and you mean to tell me they couldn’t find financial aid? Don’t even tell me the excuse that the government refused them funding; yeah, whatever—find someone else! Don’t settle with an “okay na yan” mindset because that should have been historic, and it was because of the girls, but seeing how that was all coordinated and how bare their stage was told me enough that some people in their team need to be reshuffled.
There needs to be an internal change within their team, and their management needs to look at the bigger problem: how they market their performers as a whole. Longevity-wise, I don’t see them lasting if their marketing and management are this incompetent at handling big events. It’s actually a disservice to their brand and the girls themselves.”
I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the gist of her thoughts on coordination and marketing as a professional.
I don’t know much about marketing and all that jazz, which is why I rant to her about BINI’s management and how lacklustre they are at handling the girls.
It’s actually quite sad, and overall we both feel very awful for the BINI girls. We were looking forward to seeing them here in London for the first time together, so this was not only disappointing but really telling of their team and management’s lack of preparation and care.
The thing right now is that we all want BINI to have their own dedicated team. We are not being selfish, but for a group that has performed on big stages and gained global recognition, giving them low-quality promotions that could easily be edited better is just unacceptable. 🙇
Kailangan talaga ng Team BINI ng Creative Director. Yun yung wala sila. Creative direction is not just visual; it’s also cohesive messaging, concept vision, mood, tone, and knowledge of best practices on all channels.
so yea, walang ganun sa team nila. That’s the most crucial role.
you people will never understand the situation and emotions of athletes coming from countries with only a little representation or none at all on a global stage or competition. she’s paving the way for tennis in the philippines & least you can do is be respectful or just stfu
the girls have been so passionate about their goal to bring opm to the world. kitang-kita 'yan every performance nila. if their management isn't going to step up, they will lose the fandom.
hindi pwedeng ang walo lang 'yung passionate tas 'yung umaagilid sa kanila: "okay na 'to"
See this is what happens when you don't invest in a strategic, BINI-focused team. Walang proper planning at foresight, walang proper promotions. Ang ending, LAHAT nagsuffer.
I won't be surprised if maraming mag-lielow na fans. Money, time and effort ang nasayang tapos hindi manlang sa proper channels dinaan ang announcement.
@direklauren you're aiming for global presence and success pero the investment to get there is lacking. Hindi na yata to issue on whether or not may budget or wala eh, kasi kita naman na ang dami niyong nakukuhang pera sa fans.
Anyway, there better be a damn good explanation why this is happening. You can't leave us hanging kasi mas lalong maraming mawawalan ng gana.
they are sooo right in including binichella btw, and everyone needs to experience this atleast once in their life 😭🇵🇭
THANK YOU BINI FOR A GREAT SHOW AS ALWAYSSS ily 🥹❤️🩹
