I didn't want to cry @Thundercat but I felt so embarrassed. Even at the end of the night had people asking me why security came on so heavy about my @neowalksticks 😭😭
@TheHallsWolves this is the second time I'm having to bring this to your attention. The security needs better training in accessibility. I want to book another event there but feel like I'm going to be questioned about my use of a stick again. I didn't want to cry @Thundercat
2/2 I felt so embarrassed. Only to have security come up to whilst inside the venue and ask me to switch off my glow stick. Which was my @neowalksticks I felt so embarrassed. This could of been avoided by door staff saying it can't be lit, instead of questioning my disability.
1/2 Not once but twice have I been made to feel really small @TheHallsWolves due to having a walking stick. First time I had security shout loud in the queue how do we treat the disabled people. Then while @Thundercat this weekend, I was asked if I really needed a walking stick..
Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the photograph I shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. B.
This message from a group chat of parents for an *UNDER 8’s* five a side Sunday football team is further proof that men who take football far too seriously are unhinged.
🌍 Yesterday marked the beginning of Black History Month, where we celebrate the resilience, strength, and contributions of Black individuals throughout history.
📚 As Dr Maya Angelou once said, 'We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter their color.'
