On the topic of beating old games I went back and beat super mario bros. 2 , the japanese lost levels game. Just to make sure I could do it. Wind levels suck. Anyway I think that's pretty much covered a lot of old missed classics now.

Since I brought it up I was kinda disappointed with Link to the Past. For some reason it felt smaller than Zelda 2 on NES. It might be the lack of towns or side-content, but yeah, the snes zelda game really didn't wow, it's certainly no contender for GOAT like Ocarina or Majora.

And I guess Echoes of Wisdom if you want to count that? Tears of the Kingdom I played partway through but just got annoyed with it and never got around to finishing it.

I had been on a Zelda kick lately. It's hard for me to say for sure if I had beaten any of the older games before Ocarina of Time, so I went back and played and definitively beat the original LoZ and Zelda 2 on NES and A Link to the Past on SNES.

I also finished a playthrough on a modded PC version of Majora's Mask just because that's my favorite game and it had been a long time since I last played it. I think at this point the only console Zelda games I haven't played are Skyward Sword, Four Swords Adventures and TotK.

I've been making double payments to finish off my car loan early so I've been dumping about $600 a month to finally pay off my car fully next week. If I just continue to tuck my extra big car payments away for 2 more months it'll basically be like breaking even here...

The past few weeks I've been playing this fixed up fan port of Zelda: Majora's Mask for PC and it's probably been the most fun I've had with a video game in a while. Damn, this was such a good game. I'm honestly bummed out that I finally finished it 100% last night.
