With crude oil touching $117 per barrel, the Government must take immediate austerity measures.
All new non-essential mega infrastructure projects should be put on hold until the global oil crisis eases.

🧵The Rly fastening paradox:
A whistleblower has raised serious concerns over the current procurement strategy.The belief that buying all fastening components from a single source guarantees track quality & safety is fundamentally flawed. Let's break down why.👇
@RailMinIndia

[RAILWHISPERS @Railwhispers]

1/4 The Tolerance Trap:
Simply routing orders through one supplier solves nothing unless that source actually manufactures every single item in-house. Dimensional tolerances will still vary across components, leading to unpredictable #track behavior that cannot be eliminated.

[RAILWHISPERS @Railwhispers]

3/5
2/4 Misplaced Accountability:
#Railways rely on a single supplier to shoulder total lifecycle responsibility, hoping for a neat, one-stop guarantee. But administrative convenience cannot override basic material science & manufacturing realities.

3/4 The Lifecycle Reality:
Expecting uniform performance is impossible. Every fastening component responds differently to harsh atmospheric and operational conditions. They simply do not share the exact same lifecycle.

4/4 The Takeaway:
Forcing a one-size-fits-all single-source policy ignores technical limits. To ensure true rail safety, procurement must focus on individual component excellence and environmental resilience—not just a single point of blame.

#Rotation_policies in #ZonalRailways are gathering dust. Despite continuous hammering by #Railwhispers, zero action has been taken against officers clinging to lucrative posts. Benefits are distributed like dhaniya-mirchi. The system has turned completely deaf & dumb! 1/2

#IndianRailways #Transparency

#TenderReform

@IrconOfficial @surendrash59069 @AmitJaitly5 5/5

[RAILWHISPERS @Railwhispers]
