That matches what we heard from Lars Moravy. Tesla appears to be focused on getting production right before trying to scale fast.

It’s a good reminder that the first phase isn’t about making thousands of robots. It’s about building a manufacturing process that can eventually produce millions.

With Tesla, the slow start is often the foundation for a much bigger ramp later.

FSD v14 Lite is now rolling out to AI3 early-access customers. Based on the feedback, will rollout to more customers over the next few weeks.

This build distills the driving behavior from AI4’s v14 series into both the camera and compute config of AI3. It includes destination options and speed profiles on city roads, but more importantly significantly improved safety.
