Very happy to present our latest preprint @NCCRMicrobiomes @DMF_UNIL in collaboration with @simon_vanvliet. @PignonEstelle engineered uptake and leakage rates in communities of E. coli amino acid auxotrophs and studied the effects on spatial arrangement and composition.

@recinber These are microfluidics chambers, there is a channel at the top with medium. The reason why cells at the bottom don't divide as fast as cells at the top is because there is a gradient a nutrients. More info here: https://t.co/ecNmAuw9kN
