Just in case Twitter goes down in flames, I made an account on Mastadon and will be waiting for Blue Sky to open up as well. For now…
Mastadon: [email protected]
I’ve made it a private account, but I’ll add anyone I recognize. 👍
My brother-in-law has suffered some medical emergencies in the last week and could use some help.
Anything you can spare is appreciated, including retweets. Thanks!

@OtterlyOdd That is definitely one thing about those two, they don't show their emotions as often as Sydney or Riddel, but if you're looking... they're there.
Just a heads up, I'm not really on Twitter much anymore. The only one I check daily is my side account for Helluva Boss. This site has just gotten to be too much mentally.
I'll be over on the 🐘 site if you want to visit.
Peace out, y'all!
Waiting is the worst. It's heartbreaking to watch Charlotte stuck in one room all day, for weeks, to try and limit her movement. She's losing weight too. Which, logically, I know is probably from a combination of pain, medicine and lack of activity. But it still worries me. 😩
Finally heard from the specialist Charlotte needs to go see. Her appointment isn't until March 22nd. Not ideal, but at least we're on the books. Got on a cancellation wait list too, so we might get in sooner. It was nice of them to give us the cost of stuff. It's gonna be high.😩
We had planned to have all of her legs x-rayed when she got her teeth cleaned in the spring, because she had been having some issues with a different leg, but this injury sped up those plans. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
What a weird rollercoaster the last few weeks have been. Charlotte hurt herself on the 7th, took her to the vet on Tuesday to see if she should get more pain meds and maybe x-rayed. X-rays had to be sent to a radiologist. Now we're being sent to a specialist.
We assumed her limping was due to the collision her and Caine had at the bottom of the stairs. Turns out it was kind of the last straw for her legs which have apparently been dealing with a form of arthritis. Now to figure out which kind so we can treat it. 😩
