This is such a good reminder. December is heavy for everyone, especially riders. Really appreciate platforms like Grab that give people steady work during this season. A little patience and kindness really do go a long way. 🤍

A little patience goes a long way. Story time! The other day, I ordered from a favorite resto na lagi kong ino-orderan sa Grabfood. Nung nag-accept yung rider, I noticed na bagong pangalan—usually ‘pag sa bahay, there are several usual riders na naga-accept.

Maya-maya, nag-message si Kuya saying may village fee daw siyang babayaran. I’ve ordered from this place so many times and never ko pa na-encounter ‘yun, so I replied, “Okay Kuya, dagdag ko na lang mamaya.” After that, nag-message ulit siya saying magbabayad pa raw siya ng parking. Ramdam ko na na-hassle siya, and naisip ko rin na baka hindi siya taga-area namin. I replied that in our usual Grab orders, wala namang added parking fee and that may rider parking talaga sa mall na ‘yun.

When he arrived with our food, we did what we usually do and gave him a small bag of snacks. Nag-thank you siya sa cookies, he ate one right away, and before riding off, he said thank you and greeted us Merry Christmas.

I guess that’s why I want to share this story. We’re all dealing with a LOT ngayong December, and a little compassion goes a long way. Lalo na sa mga nasa service industry, riders, drivers, security, enforcers, everyone just trying to get through each day despite the crazy traffic and holiday rush. Totoo talaga na we never know what someone else is carrying, and choosing to be kinder is a big part of the meaning of this season. ✨ Especially in these crazy days leading up to Christmas, when something throws us off, let's take a deep breath and a moment before we respond.. it can make or break someone else's and your day. 🤍

@iamsuperbianca Thanks for sharing this. It’s easy to forget how tough the holidays are for riders navigating traffic and new areas. Choosing compassion makes all the difference — and stories like this remind us why kindness still matters, especially this season. ✨

December traffic = pagod lahat. Reading this reminded me that drivers are doing their best to get us home safe. Appreciate Grab for taking care of them — makes the wait feel a bit lighter.

Peak season na naman grabe ang surge ng fare prices especially for those booking 😤The surge is a hassle, that's true, pero grabe rin kasi yung dami ng taong nagcocommute ngayon and doing their holiday shopping. I sincerely hope that everyone is getting by pauwi sa mga families nila especially in the holiday rush hour kasi hindi talaga biro ang traffic!

Kaya munting paalala para sa Juan Dela Cruz na nakikipagsapalaran sa taas ng prices: when things get frustrating, I hope that everyone approaches the holidays with more compassion than usual. It's not the fault of our Grab drivers and/or Grab delivery drivers that prices are high. We're all moving through the same holiday rush, and at least knowing that these Grab drivers are being compensated fairly for being able to navigate through all the Metro Manila chaos gives me a bit of peace. Everyone's trying to make a living and get back home to their families nang matiwasay, and I hope we become more sensitive to everyone because this is the season for love, joy, and hope! Ingat po ang lahat! 🎄❤️🫶🏼

@kyoquijano Lahat tayo pagod this season — commuters, riders, drivers. Grateful for Grab for treating drivers fairly, even during the chaos. A little patience really goes a long way.

Traffic's crazy this season 🤯, but it makes me appreciate the drivers more. They're just trying to get people home to their families 💕. Sending love to all the commuters out there! 🙌

[Catriona Gray @catrionaelisa]

Just today, I got caught in one of the heaviest traffics of 2025 😮‍💨 The holiday rush is real — louder crowds, busier streets, and tougher commutes. It’s the kind of day that tests our patience and makes it easy to snap at the people around us.

So here’s a gentle reminder to choose kindness, especially toward the strangers we meet 🙏 A little gratitude for those who serve us, a little patience for our Grab Drivers powering through the traffic just for us to arrive at our holiday celebration safe and sound. Also let’s appreciate our Grab delivery drivers bringing our meals despite the gridlock. When we make others feel good, we feel good too. And that kindness spreads.

Let’s brush off the small delays and embrace the spirit of bayanihan this season — lifting one another up to make the holidays warmer and lighter for everyone.

Happy Holidays! 🎄

@catrionaelisa December traffic got me wanting to stay in bed 😴. But knowing drivers are doing their best to get everyone home safely makes the wait a bit easier. Thanks for the reminder to be kind to each other! 🙏
