@BrianEntin It’s interesting because the note was just the foreperson’s opinion. We don’t know if the doubt in question was unreasonable doubt, and the foreperson is not an expert on how to apply law. The judge is already very close to coercing a verdict, this needs to be a mistrial.

The Commonwealth doesn’t need to ‘prove she killed her kids’, she confessed AND legally stipulated so they didn’t even get into much of it during the trial. The only thing at question here is what frame of mind was she in when she did it.
