@bangboolean515 @lezboyaya also you can't just say someone's too honorable to be a groomer when said character has already been established as morally gray, i.e. being a member of the Fatui. all of the Harbingers are bad in different ways and scales

@bangboolean515 @lezboyaya as honorable as Thrain is, him being part of the Fatui, especially a HARBINGER, can still diminish that. but simply mentoring someone can still be grooming them: that is shaping them into being something else, like a soldier in this case. it is highly likely he did

@bangboolean515 @lezboyaya i love a lot of the Fatui characters too, especially Arlecchino. but her case is the most vivid: the entire House of the Hearth is literally just a faction dedicated to grooming children into becoming Fatui soldiers. she's just not as cruel as Crucabena was about it
