I've done this with base memes so far
- rumours of paid shills for base
- base memes green when the market is red
- friendtech drop discussion
- lots of discussion on SOL vs BASE
The psychology and theory around the paid side is simple. If you get frustrated about the fact that this may be happening, you're missing the point. Don't worry about if it's happening think about why it's happening and the impact it can have.
Twitter has the memory of a goldfish and are very easily distracted. If prices continue rising and activity is increasing, people will migrate with very little thought or care for their feelings about paid advertisements. The principles people hold close change very quickly when opportunity is available. I mean look how many of you entered the SOL racist meta, you think some concern about paid shills is going to be a blocker?
Base memes have performed well in all conditions recently.
Friendtech trickle down from any drop is very real and worthy for consideration.
You can argue between chains all you want, I care very little. Where there is opportunity I will follow.
My portfolio on base is 3x in 2 weeks and many base alts are making ATHs and breaking huge consolidations today.
The theory has been underpinned by psychology looking at the way people have talked about base, some of the 20IQ "it's the normies chain!" approaches, some of the midcurve frustration with potential paid shills and performance of base in comparison to SOL.
The thing that drives participation is an ecosystem with opportunity and with coins that increase in value.
Logic is simple for this side of things, people like it when numbers go up. Activity, buying and interaction will increase after this patch of alts run again.
And no, this isn't a paid post, it's just commentary on the environment but if the bald man wants to hit me up I'm here.
@novogratz imho people should be able to choose who represents them regardless if we like who they choose or why
Promoting the idea of avoiding represen. that fits a specific profile and why is the better way
Change hearts and minds via reason not rules- it's harder, but more meaningful
@Grady_Booch@coloradotravis Here's a thought experiment. If it was necessary, how would a country/union financially sanction the United States? Do you think it would be successful? If not, why?
@NathanDallon Yes, ETH does not have a hard cap like BTC (21M). Interestingly, with a semi recent change to the protocol, EIP-1559, some of the ETH is burned with every transaction, in an attempt to counter balance some of the inflation.
