Another glowing article on Wonpil’s first festival stage 👏🏻 문화비축기지 뜨겁게 달군 원필→악뮤...'뷰민라 2026' 성료 [K리뷰] https://t.co/atD1g8JM2O
The highlight of day 2 of ‘Beautiful Mint Life’ was without a doubt Wonpil, who took the stage as a solo headliner. Even without his fellow DAY6 members beside him, Wonpil completely filled the stage with his overwhelming presence, engaging with fans through his polished, relaxed stage manner throughout the performance.
Wonpil performed songs from his solo album ‘Unpiltered’, released last March, including “Toxic Love,” “Piano,” “Already Grown Up” “Up All Night,” “Step by Step,” and “Highs and Lows”, showcasing the deeper musical world he has developed as a solo artist. The performance of “Piano” was especially memorable as he personally played a sweet, emotional keyboard arrangement that heightened the impact of the live stage.
As a fitting surprise from a headliner, Wonpil then played the keyboard while delivering a flawless solo version of DAY6’s hit song “You Were Beautiful”. In response, the entire venue at Oil Tank Culture Park erupted into a massive singalong from the audience. He also offered warmth and comfort through performances of “Someday, Spring Will Come” and “Stranded,” delivering messages of hope and consolation to the crowd. Then, switching up the mood completely, he turned the atmosphere electric with “Home Alone,” getting fans at the venue jumping and fully immersed in the moment.
