b. They want brownie points by exaggerating an issue that really isn’t an issue at all

c. They crave attention

d. A mix of all of the above

a. D6 haven’t gotten much attention from the writers until over a decade since their debut.

@PersonthePerso2 As a long time Sonic fan, I haven’t been into the Deadly Six until Zavok and Zazz got some love from the writers. I’ve gotten into Mario more recently and instantly clicked with the Koopalings.

@NaboTurnip Even though I know the cartoon isn’t canon, I like the idea that their portrayal in the series is what the Koopalings were like when they were younger. I think it would be cute if they used their cartoon names as family nicknames. Here’s some examples:
