Think about that for a second.

You can do everything right. You can seek help, follow every instruction, wait patiently, trust the system. And still lose someone because someone else didn’t act, didn’t care enough, or simply let it slip.

Hospitals. Doctors. Nurses. Institutions. This isn’t about pointing at one person. It’s about a culture where delays, mistakes, and negligence are quietly brushed aside instead of being confronted. These cases are not rare. They happen more than we admit. They just don’t get talked about long enough.

And what happens after?

Nothing.

No proper investigation. No real answers. No accountability. The same people go back to work the next day like nothing happened, while families are left carrying grief that never leaves them.

And because there are no consequences, our health sector has become too comfortable. Too careless. There is an untouchable attitude growing where people know they won’t be held responsible, and that should worry every single one of us.

Sit with that.

Because this means something much bigger than one case. It means if it happens to you, if it’s your mother, your child, your brother, there is no guarantee anyone will answer for it. No guarantee anyone will even be forced to explain.

That is not just failure. That is dangerous.

We need an independent body, a separate committee or board that is not part of the same system, to investigate cases of medical negligence properly. Not internal reviews that protect institutions, but real, transparent investigations that protect people.

Every single person who failed in their duty must be identified and held accountable. Not quietly, not internally, but in a way that ensures this never happens again.

Because right now, what we are allowing is worse than negligence.

We are allowing a system where preventable deaths are absorbed, normalized, and forgotten.

And if that doesn’t make you uncomfortable, angry, and afraid, then we’ve already accepted something we never should have.

There are individuals within MBS who resist change, obstruct improvements, and have been linked to repeated negligence. Yet they remain in their roles without meaningful consequences.

That’s how systems fail — not from one mistake, but from a culture where accountability is absent.

Reshuffling top management won’t solve this.

Unless the right people are held accountable, these incidents will continue.

MBS needs a serious reset. There are staff who are stuck in their ways, resist change, and actively block improvements. This isn’t just attitude.. it has already led to multiple negligence incidents.

Yet the same people are still in their positions like nothing happened. No accountability, no consequences. That’s the real issue. When people know nothing will happen to them, the system will keep failing.

Don’t just reshuffle top management and call it a fix. That does nothing if the same individuals responsible for these failures remain untouched.

There needs to be a transparent investigation, clear identification of those responsible, and real disciplinary action. Not internal silence, not quiet transfers.. actual accountability.

Patients’ lives are not a system you experiment with. Fix the culture, enforce responsibility, or be prepared for this to happen again.

Every time we speak up, they slap a label on us. During Anni’s government, we were opposition activists. Under Dr. Waheed, we became the opposition cult. With Yameen, it was the same story—but at least they listened. Then came Ibu Solih, where questioning anything suddenly made us ungrateful and, of course, opposition again.

So if anyone wants to brand us as opposition, twist our fight for their own agenda, or call us ungrateful, go right ahead. We do not give a damn. We are here to fight for our rights, no matter who sits in power. Because let’s be real—not a single government has ever truly given a fuck.

No matter who’s in power, the same Health Ministry officials stay in control. Governments change, but these people remain, calling the shots like it’s their own empire.

They don’t serve the people, and they sure as hell don’t answer to any government. They run the show, and they know it.
