kubrick has this quote about how it’s not great to try to directly teach or transfer an idea to anyone. he says something like, you need to give people an experience where they can arrive at the truth for themselves. something about doing that anchors the experience from a conceptual one to an embodied one. I get that it’s a sneaky way to teach but it’s the only real way.
