NSUI’s spectacular victory in the Garhwal University elections is a comprehensive defeat of the BJP.

It is evident that Uttarakhand is fed up with their anti-people policies that have led to unprecedented loot and destruction in the state.

This is also a message from India’s youth and students who were waiting for an opportunity to punish the BJP for the horrible violence meted out during the Jantar Mantar protests.

Over two days, we held detailed discussions with AICC UP In-Charge Sh. Rajendra Pal Gautam, PCC President Sh. Ajay Rai ji, CLP Leader Smt. Aradhana Mishra ji, Secretaries, and AICC Observers, to finalise the new DCC Presidents for UP.

In the run up to the upcoming Assembly Elections, we are gearing up to revamp our organisation to further consolidate the Opposition’s position in UP.

As was seen in 2024, the people of UP have decided to throw out the BJP and the Congress will play a critical role in ensuring their defeat.
