So, according to the BCCI, Ranchi cannot host the BGT because it’s in East India and has early sunsets. The venue will be changed to a South or West India.

But then Guwahati, which is hosting the BGT, must be in South India, near Kanyakumari, I guess.

Let Guwahati host white-ball games. Why force a Test match there when venues like Mumbai or Kolkata have been waiting to host one for so long?

Even age wise Rajat's selection over Rutu doesn't make sense although it's a secondary reason.

So what's baffling in this ?? were you expecting Rajat to get preference in ODIs because of his T20 form ??
