SC not only exposes the lie of Gyanesh Kumar about the SC having approved the change made by the ECI in form 6, it also says that it can annul unilateral decisions of Gyanesh. According to the RTI reply of EC, there is no record of ECI taking the decision to conduct SIR. The whole SIR must be annulled & status quo ante must be restored if we are to reclaim our democracy

A woman says she urgently needed to use the washroom, but was reportedly denied entry at a 5-star hotel.
And this raises a serious question: does being a “non-guest” mean you can simply be refused in an emergency?
India’s old Indian Sarais Act, 1867 does provide for access to toilet facilities in hotels for travellers.
So before calling it “private property, their rules,” shouldn’t we first check what the law actually says?

NSUI students marching peacefully towards Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, have been brutally detained.

They are now being held at Kapashera Police Station. As per the SHO Vikram Dahiya, he is instructed that they will not be released until tomorrow night because of the Congress Rahul Gandhi-led march scheduled for tomorrow.

If protesters are being kept in custody merely to prevent them from participating in tomorrow’s political programme, what is this if not an abuse of state power?

Detention cannot become a tool to silence dissent.
Police custody cannot become political captivity.
And peaceful protest cannot be criminalised for administrative convenience.

The authority to detain is not the authority to suppress.

Release the students. End this arbitrary detention.

🚨#Important: This is major! Today, the Supreme Court has distanced itself from one of Gyanesh Kumar’s illegalities.

Chief Justice Surya Kant has said that the court DID NOT approve any changes in Form 6 (the form for registration of new voters). Remember that the other two Election Commissioners had objected to a change in the Form which they said was leading to “harassment” of new voters, especially the Gen Z who were being stopped from becoming registered voters. The Form could only be changed after a change in law and election rules.

The more concerning part is that just one day after the Indian Express exposé on Gyanu, the Election Commission’s Press Release dated Sept 26 stated that “The declaration attached to Form 6 for SIR has been upheld by the SC”. But today, CJI Surya Kant has said NO!

The Court that gave legal cover to Gyanu’s SIR process has put its hands up and said that they had nothing to do with Gyanu’s illegal action!

Clock is ticking for Gyanu! Gyanu, it’s done bro.
