🚨#BREAKING: A man who was driving home from work, found an elderly woman was FACE DOWN in the middle of the road in a puddle..
...he pulled over, sprinted to her and helped her get up and likely saved her life
The man's name is Ryan Carter.
He was driving home from work in Martin County, Florida, when he saw something in the road that didn't look right.
It was an elderly woman. She'd hit a water-filled pothole with her walker and gone down face-first into it.
She was still strapped into the seat of her rolling walker. Face down. In the water.
Nobody else had stopped.
Ryan had recently taken a class on Florida's Good Samaritan law.
So before he touched her, he started recording on his glasses. Not for clout. To protect her, and to protect himself, so he could help her the right way.
Then he got down next to her and asked what she needed.
She couldn't move… and she still didn't want to be a burden to anybody. 💔
So he stayed calm, talked her through it, counted her down, and lifted her out from under her arms.
He got her seated. He pushed her away from the hole.
Then he told her he was going to get her a cup of water.
He drove her home himself.
Then he CALLED HER LATER to make sure she was okay.
"I saw somebody in a desperate situation, and I just wanted to be the hand that she could depend on."
When he got home, he mentioned it to his wife like it was nothing. She watched the footage and realized he hadn't just helped that woman... he may have saved her life.
GOD BLESS THIS RYAN CARTER, THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@sahouraxo Trump is complicit in the genocide of Gaza and now Lebanon.
Removing the International Criminal Court means there's no one to prosecute Trump or Israel for their war crimes.
BREAKING: Trump has sanctioned the president of the International Criminal Court — Tomoko Akane.
Her “crime”?
Holding Netanyahu accountable for war
crimes in Gaza.
The message could not be clearer:
Israel’s genocide in Gaza is being enabled, backed, funded and protected by the US.
@jacksonhinkle Dude is right? Chinese have high quality of life compared to America and this jackass is one of the reasons why we cannot succeed. His greed and corruption are the problem.
"Don't speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn't know the difference. Words are energy and they cast spells, that's why it's called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself, and you can change your life."

NOT TODAY: This woman refused to become a victim of a man wearing a "Chucky doll" mask who police say is terrorizing people in Philadelphia. She squared up and kicked him in the chest. "I was like OK, well, let's see if you can fight -- and he couldn't," she said, adding that he ran away after she kicked him. https://t.co/iHv7DXPZva

Alan Ritchson says the entire industry is terrified of what he’s going to say next. But he refuses to stay quiet while everyone else bows down to power.
“Everybody is scared around me for what I’m going to say. My publicist right now is biting her nails down to the cuticles.”
“People are a little bit afraid of me because they’re like, ‘He’s a loose cannon.’ And I’m not. I’m just saying the shit that everybody should say if they give a shit about humanity.”
“Stop cowtowing to the wrong people. Stop bowing down to people that have power. You got power too, man. Power in numbers.”
“Why am I the exception to the rule? Bitch, everybody else speak up. You are all feeling the same thing. Get loud.”
“Everybody else should have it. Everybody else should feel like I feel! The world is on fire! Be mad about the way things are and the abuses that are happening.”
The "labor shortage" is employers refusing to pay livable wages and then blaming workers for not wanting to be exploited. There's no shortage of labor, there's a shortage of dignity. When a full-time job still qualifies you for food stamps, the employer is the welfare recipient.

Sandra Oh says a woman approached her at the Met to say a Grey’s Anatomy scene made her leave her fiancé and become a lawyer
“Young people come up to me all the time. It was at the opera, when I did the opera at the Met last year”
“She came up to me and she goes, ‘I have to tell you something.’ And it’s always that, I have to tell you something. And you go, ‘Okay, tell me’”
“And she was saying, 10 years ago I was watching your show and I was going to get married to this guy, and he didn’t want me to work. He was like, I’ll take care of you, blah blah blah”
“And she was quoting this scene, which of course you’re going, what scene is that? What scene is that?”
“And then she said something like, oh, I remember that scene, it’s a scene with Burke. In season 10, Burke comes back and offers her this incredible opportunity in Switzerland, which Cristina then takes”
“So I’m like, oh, I understand what episode she’s talking about, but she’s saying how much this episode and I think the character affected her”
“And she goes, ‘I left him. I became a lawyer’”
“And I was just like, ‘Good for you. Whatever was going on in your life, it was not enough. And that guy who was saying that you are not going to be who you’re going to be and fulfill your destiny, go become a lawyer... Leave that. Leave him’”
