This was the peak of Boko Haram, when Christmas Day bombings were a recurrence. When churches were bombed weekly. St Theresa, St. John, and St. Patrick Cathedrals were all bombed. We couldn't enter the church on Sundays without going through body scanners. 200 churches and 10 dioceses were affected. 90,000 members displaced with over 1,000 unalived, according to the ACN International report.

BREAKING: Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has accused ADC chieftain Kashim Imam of creating problems within the party in Plateau State by allegedly favouring Muslims and certain ethnic groups.

In a 13-minute video, Dalung reminded Kashim Imam of his family's political history, claiming that when the Northern People's Congress (NPC) denied his father a ticket to contest in Borno State during the First Republic, Joseph Sarwuan Tarka (J.S. Tarka) of the United Middle Belt Congress (UMBC) gave him refuge in Benue and sponsored him for election to the National Assembly.

Dalung said: "Your father was a Muslim, while J.S. Tarka was a Christian, yet he never discriminated against him. It is therefore disappointing that you are being accused of promoting ethnic and religious bias in your political activities."

He concluded with a strong message to Kashim Imam: "Do not allow your personal interests to destroy the ADC in Plateau State."

At this juncture, I'm convinced that some people are no longer speaking as opposition figures or offering genuine advice. They are simply crying out for attention from the Presidency, hoping that if they make enough noise, they might eventually be invited to the table.

Otherwise, who in their right mind advises a man to strengthen, fund or empower the same people who are plotting his downfall?
That is the equivalent of asking a man to supply bullets to his enemies and then act surprised when those bullets are fired at him.

Everybody seems not to be normal again in the name of attention and politics..
