IDBI बैंक को बेचा ही नहीं जा सकता है।

साल 2003 में पार्लियामेंट्री स्टैंडिंग कमेटी ऑन फाइनेंस ने कह दिया था- IDBI बैंक में सरकार की हिस्सेदारी को 51% से नीचे नहीं घटाया जा सकता है।

उस समय देश की सत्ता में BJP थी और जसवंत सिंह वित्त मंत्री थे।

जसवंत सिंह ने लोकसभा में 08 अगस्त 2003 और राज्यसभा में 15 अगस्त 2003 को अपने भाषण में वादा किया था- हम किसी भी हालत में IDBI बैंक में हिस्सेदारी को 51% से नीचे नहीं घटाएंगे।

लेकिन भगवान राम के नाम पर चंदा चोरी करने वाली BJP अब अपना वादा तोड़ने और IDBI बैंक को बेचने पर तुली है।

Thank you. Today you made history. As per the latest count shared with us, more than 11,000 of us across the country joined in, peacefully and with dignity. A turnout like this, in a bank that many had written off as "already sold", is a resounding answer by itself.

Many of us were told, "the sale is done, what can happen now?" Look around. Never before has our matter been raised and discussed this much. Financial reporters, writers, public representatives across parties and ordinary citizens are now asking questions about this deal. That did not happen on its own. It happened because you stood up.

One example. As reported by BW Businessworld, the government's own note left private banks out while valuing IDBI, saying they would give an "over-estimated" price, and called RBI's private bank tag for IDBI "purely technical". Yet IDBI is being sold to a private owner, to run as a private bank. Read it yourself, along with what other financial experts are writing, and use your own deductive reasoning.

Tomorrow is Day 2. If you are a member and feel our demands are logical, let us make it even bigger than today. Bring one more colleague, one more voice. Be informed, and take an informed decision. If after reading all this you are in favour of the privatisation, I will respect your decision.

On the question "can I join when I have not informed till now?": as I understand it, individual intimation is a courtesy, not a statutory requirement, since the union has already given notice. The only exception is if you are a keys holder. In that case, please inform that the keys are with you and hand them over to the person deputed, if any, so that no customer suffers.

Today we showed our strength. Tomorrow let us show our resolve is indefatigible.

आईडीबीआई बैंक के निजीकरण और उसकी 60 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी कनाडाई कंपनी फेयरफैक्स फाइनेंशियल होल्डिंग को बेचने के केंद्र सरकार के फैसले के विरोध में, बैंकों के राष्ट्रीयकरण को बनाए रखने और कर्मचारियों की नौकरी की सुरक्षा जैसी मांगों को लेकर 2 और 3 नवंबर को बैंक कर्मचारियों द्वारा की जा रही राष्ट्रव्यापी हड़ताल का भीम आर्मी-आजाद समाज पार्टी (कांशीराम) पुरजोर समर्थन करती है।

आईडीबीआई बैंक में केंद्र सरकार और एलआईसी की कुल 94 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी है। 60 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी विदेशी कंपनी को बेचने से बैंक का नियंत्रण विदेशी निवेशक के हाथों में चला जाएगा। कर्मचारी संगठनों के अनुसार, यह दिसंबर 2003 में संसद में दिए गए सरकार के उस आश्वासन का उल्लंघन है, जिसमें न्यूनतम 51 प्रतिशत सरकारी हिस्सेदारी बनाए रखने की बात कही गई थी।

वहीं, बैंक का शुद्ध मुनाफा वित्त वर्ष 2021 के 1,513.97 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर वित्त वर्ष 2026 में 9,209.97 करोड़ रुपये पहुंच गया है। माननीया वित्त मंत्री @nsitharaman जी, ऐसे में सवाल है कि जब आईडीबीआई बैंक लगातार मुनाफा कमा रहा है, तो उसे निजी हाथों में सौंपने की जरूरत ही क्या है?

बैंकों का निजीकरण देश की आर्थिक संप्रभुता, आम जनता की जमा पूंजी और लाखों कर्मचारियों के भविष्य से जुड़ा गंभीर सवाल है। @mygovindia निजीकरण का फैसला वापस ले और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों तथा कर्मचारियों के अधिकारों की रक्षा सुनिश्चित करे।

बैंक कर्मचारियों का यह संघर्ष सार्वजनिक संस्थानों, जनहित और रोजगार की सुरक्षा का संघर्ष है। भीम आर्मी-आजाद समाज पार्टी (कांशीराम) उनके साथ पूरी मजबूती से खड़ी है।
