I would like to meet the person who wants to take responsibility for that next chapter with me.

I am looking for a technical founding partner with substantial hands-on experience shipping AI systems, strong full-stack engineering judgment, and a deep understanding of working with coding agents.

The work involves evaluating generated content, making verification reliable, understanding model failures, managing operating costs, and carrying those decisions through to the experience a learner actually uses.

It also needs someone comfortable questioning the current foundations. The right partner should bring their own judgment about what to keep, what to change, and what deserves attention first.

I would bring product and design leadership. Together, we would shape a focused launch, put the experience in front of real learners, and let the evidence influence what comes next.

What began with watching my own children has become a much wider ambition: helping people approach something they do not yet understand with enough support and confidence to keep going.

Watching my children use learning apps changed the questions I was asking about education technology.

I had spent years looking at products as a designer. Sitting beside my own kids brought a different kind of attention. I started noticing the moments between the questions: how they worked something out, what made them hesitate, when they wanted help, and whether the app understood any of that.

Those observations became the starting point for Ketu, a learning platform now in development.

The vision is a platform that can adapt to someone’s understanding across subjects and grades, with different ways to participate: reading, listening, speaking, and interacting with visual problems. It should have room for a child encountering an idea for the first time, a teenager working through a gap, or an adult returning to something they want to understand better.

The project began with my children. The questions it raised reached well beyond them.

That is where the project stands: there are implemented foundations, and there is still a learner-facing product to bring together.

The work so far includes content generation and validation, review tools, adaptive learning foundations, visual verification, and a design system that documents the intended experience.

The remaining work reaches across the journey: entering the product, finding an appropriate starting point, practising, receiving help, returning to earlier learning, and understanding progress.

There are no live users yet. The learning outcomes still need to be demonstrated. Real use will challenge assumptions that documentation and technical checks cannot settle.

The broader ambition remains subject- and grade-agnostic. Mathematics is the initial proving ground. Other subjects will need their own content expertise, validation, and suitable interactions. Schools and other education providers are longer-term possibilities, dependent on first establishing that the experience works.

The next meaningful milestone is someone being able to use Ketu and find a reason to return because it helped them understand something.

Appreciation in digital spaces often lacks the depth and nuance found in real life. Inspired by Medium’s Claps feature, I built (tried) a more natural and expressive way for users to show their support. 👏✨
