I’ve been using GPT-5.6 to build Compass Code—my own mobile coding app for managing AI coding sessions on a Linux VPS.

It helped me tighten the mobile UI, design tmux-based session flows, shape approval gates for risky actions, and turn a rough agent wrapper on Pi Agent into a real product.

What stands out is the range: it can help me think through the architecture, catch weak product decisions, and then drop straight into implementation.
