@GameofOwls@Fai_Clarkk “It’ll cost you extra” literally means ada is asking for additional payment because the circumstances changed. That doesn’t prove she only does things for money, but it absolutely shows that money/payment is part of her motivation.
@GameofOwls@Fai_Clarkk I never said money was her only motivation. You keep attacking that argument because you apparently can’t distinguish ‘getting paid’ from ‘only caring about money'
@GameofOwls@Fai_Clarkk Why are you suddenly bringing Leon into this? Yes, Leon gets paid too. My point was that people don’t just do a job without getting paid, even if the character obviously has their own motivations
@GameofOwls@Fai_Clarkk Funny how you’re doing the exact same thing, deciding which parts of her dialogue count as lies based on your own interpretation. At least be consistent
@GameofOwls@Fai_Clarkk Just because ada has lied before doesn’t mean you can dismiss everything she says as a lie. Especially when she’s a mercenary being threatened at gunpoint
@youtoastbread@Fai_Clarkk So what exactly are you trying to correct me on? I said she was working for payment, not that she actually received it. She betrayed them and lost the payment in the end
@youtoastbread@Fai_Clarkk Then why did she choose to say, ‘Okay, I’ll do it—but it’ll cost you extra’ instead of ‘Okay, I’ll do it, but I want to be paid’? If Ada said this, it implies she had been working without being paid before
