This is Damascus, the capital of my country.
Israel bombed it less than a year ago, despite the fact that not a single shot had been fired at Israel from Syria for over 60 years.
This had nothing to do with Iran, Hezbollah, or Hamas. It was part of Israel’s efforts to interfere in the country’s internal affairs and keep it divided and weak.
So when Israelis claim that Israel does not attack those who do not attack it, Damascus proves otherwise.
Israeli terrorist forces deliberately targeted and murdered Mona Khalil, a renowned conservationist who saved sea turtles near Tyre
Israel is poisoning farmland, destroying villages and killing everyone connected to the land of southern Lebanon
It is called ethnic cleansing
🚨BREAKING: Israel Has Now Killed Over 4,000 People In Lebanon, Injuring 12,000+ More
The death toll has exceeded 4,000 after a series of massacres in the Nabatieh area, killing 65 civilians with around a dozen others still missing and injuring around 100 more.
That Ben Gvir post that everyone is sharing aghast? It is a perfectly normal and common Israeli view, held by millions. It is the Israeli mainstream, and not extreme in the least. I grew up hearing that endlessly
An Egyptian PhD student asked his university, Erasmus Rotterdam, to change supervisor after his supervisor signed a letter supporting the genocide in Gaza.
The university refused, and forced Ahmed to leave instead. Ahmed took them to court, and lost.
We all know if this had been a Jewish student and Arab supervisor it would have gone very differently.
Well done to Ahmed for pushing all the way to expose the hypocrisy anf supremacy at the heart of our universities.

All Black People Should be Pan-Africanists - Tayo Bello
As Africans. Pan-Africanism is the difficult but necessary work of freeing the African mind from centuries of shame, distortion, erasure, and dependence on foreign validation.
Colonization did not only take our land, resources, names, and systems of governance. It taught Africans to look at themselves through the eyes of those who conquered them. That is the deepest violence of colonization, because people who are taught to be ashamed of themselves can never fully stand in their own power.
To continue this way is to slowly lose ourselves, because too many Africans have been trained to believe that dignity must come from outside.
Africa’s future must be built by Africans who are no longer begging to be seen, approved, or humanized through foreign eyes. The African mind must be freed. Only then can we begin to speak of true independence, true dignity, and true liberation.
Nine months since the signing of a so-called "ceasefire" brokered by the US, over 1,000 P*lestinians have been killed by Isr*el in G*za.
This figure exposes the hollow reality of an agreement that has done nothing to stop the g*nocide, halt the bombardment or lift the suffocating siege.
Instead of peace, the population has endured over 3,000 documented violations, leaving them trapped in shrinking pockets of land while hospitals remain non-functional and starvation is weaponised.
Despite the existence of the agreement, Isr*eli forces now occupy roughly 60% of the G*za Strip, systematically expanding control far beyond the boundaries originally set by the agreement.
Global leaders, having traded accountability for a piece of paper, remain largely silent as P*lestinians continue to be killed in so-called "safe zones" and tent camps.
As the violence continues unabated, it is increasingly clear that for the people of G*za, this so-called "ceasefire" does not exist.
It is a continued, catastrophic escalation of a g*nocidal campaign that operates with total impunity, regardless of diplomatic commitments.
BREAKING: Israeli strikes since midnight have killed at least 47 people and wounded 97, as cross-border bombardment intensifies, says Lebanon’s health ministry.

Brian Kagoro: We Must Not Forget What Was Done To Us
Africa is often told to forget the crimes committed against the continent and its people. But why are we told to "move on" from some historical crimes and "never forget" others?
Brian Kagoro reminds us that if we desire justice, then we must continue to teach, discuss, and remind the world of these crimes. The transatlantic slave trade, colonialism, and neo-colonialism were not unfortunate accidents, they were systems of exploitation that caused immense suffering, and those consequences are still felt today.
The cat is out of the bag. Finally!
All the hullaballoo about Ebola and all that was a smoke screen to create a transit passage for minerals from the DRC and the region to the USA...unbelievable.
The imperialists have found a perfect stooge in Africa. There will be a backlash
The West’s Democracy Lie: Loyalty for Allies, Condemnation for Africa
Western powers often present democracy as a universal standard, but in practice, that standard shifts depending on who is serving their interests.
Leaders who align with Western agendas are defended, excused, or repackaged, even when their democratic records are questionable. But African leaders who challenge foreign control, reclaim resources, and push for sovereignty are quickly labelled dangerous, illegitimate, or undemocratic.
This is the real double standard.
The question Africans must ask is simple: why should we judge Pan-African leaders through a democratic lens designed by the same powers that have historically undermined African independence?
The same FIFA that could not stop a world cup host from not issuing visas to players and official delegations has banned Haiti from wearing its jersey because the design (paying homage to its anti-slavery struggle) is "too political."
"Black people should just kick the footballs. The wider political context of the football is not for them."
There Is No Such Thing As “International Law” – Amanda Seales
In this video, US-born Grenadian author and activist @amandaseales sheds light on the reality behind the facade of “international law” that we have all been brought up in, with a particular focus on the true purpose of the so-called “United Nations” (UN).
Is the UN really working to “maintain international peace and security, protect human rights, deliver humanitarian aid, promote sustainable development, and uphold international law” in the world, as its lofty mission statement would have us believe?
Or does this esteemed organization serve a more sinister purpose?
