Met the leadership from Acer, the multinational hardware and electronics company, who demonstrated a range of classroom-ready technologies including IoT, robotics and coding solutions designed to introduce school students to emerging technologies through hands-on learning.
Their Acer Cloud Professor platform allows beginners to learn coding via smartphones or tablets using visual programming and cloud integration. We discussed exploring opportunities to pilot these solutions in Kalaburagi to strengthen technology-enabled STEM education in government schools.
Met with the Intel India team for a productive discussion on strengthening Karnataka’s technology ecosystem through deeper collaboration in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), AI skilling, and advanced computing.
We explored opportunities to equip students and young professionals with industry-relevant AI capabilities, support innovation and research, and take affordable computing technologies beyond major urban centres to schools, institutions, startups, and communities at the grassroots.
Our focus is clear: democratise access to technology, build future-ready talent, and ensure that the benefits of the AI revolution reach every region and every section of society.
Following a request made by the National Restaurant Association of India to @CMofKarnataka, the Government has permitted hotels and restaurants in Bengaluru to extend their service hours from 1:00 am to 3:30 am on July 14, 15 and 19.
Football fans can now come together and enjoy the late-night match screenings responsibly.
This relaxation is strictly limited to the specified dates. All establishments must comply with the attached operational guidelines. Public safety, law & order, and the convenience of citizens remain our highest priorities.
I urge fellow football fans and all establishments to celebrate responsibly, follow every guideline and extend full cooperation to the authorities. Any violation or lapse will invite strict action.
All of us need to be responsible, be responsive and be respectful.

Real champions don't chase shortcuts.
They earn every second, every finish, every medal.
When someone offers a shortcut, say with confidence, "Beda Bro."
Because there is no substitute for discipline, perseverance and fair play.

We pay our tribute to a great son of India, K. Kamaraj, who is known for his simplicity and integrity.
Widely revered by the people of Tamil Nadu, Kamarajar was a staunch advocate of social justice and welfare. A Former Congress President and Bharat Ratna recipient, K. Kamaraj introduced pioneering initiatives like the Mid Day Meal scheme, which continues to provide disadvantaged children with access to free education.
His contributions to nation-building, have left a lasting impact on India’s welfare paradigm.
It was great to see the progress of INNOVERSE and the Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST). These are two transformative, government-backed deep-tech and cultural initiatives being developed in Bengaluru. Conceived as complementary institutions, both projects are being delivered through a pioneering Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model between the Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology and UnboxingBLR.
The Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST) will be India’s first museum dedicated exclusively to documenting the nation’s remarkable journey in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Rooted in India’s present and inspired by its future, MIST will showcase the ideas, institutions and innovators that have transformed the country’s technological landscape while inspiring curiosity, creativity and conversation across generations.
The museum is being developed by the Karnataka Technology Innovation Museum Foundation (KTIMF) and will be located within the historic NGEF Campus at Baiyappanahalli, occupying one of the original switchgear factory sheds nestled within a 105-acre campus that includes 65 acres of urban forest. Through the adaptive reuse of this industrial heritage structure, the existing 10,061 sq. m. footprint will be expanded to nearly 24,000 sq. m. by adding new floors and double-height volumes. Approximately 12,325 sq. m. will be dedicated to immersive museum galleries and public experiences, creating a landmark institution that celebrates India’s innovation journey while preserving an important chapter of Karnataka’s industrial heritage.
