Mula Mutha river at Yerwada today 7.30pm. Luckily river side walking track is still intact and atleast river level is 8-10ft below tracks. If water is released situation will be difficult but good for early Ujjain dam filling.

@MeghUpdates Though timings look too optimistic just like Gadkari ji when promoting a new road. But with operational speed of 250kmph timings will reduce drastically. Surprised why they are not extending Mumbai - Ahmedabad till Delhi, it's one of the busiest rail and flight route.

@aparanjape If you start early from Pune it's a breeze to cross all diversions. Anuskura is best option as roads are quite good and traffic comparatively less. Had done this route late April and reached Kunkeshwar within 7 hrs from Pune.

Spoke to some of my old friends in Mumbai.

They said everyone is surprised and happy by the action against illegal encroachment at Bandra station. Most people believed it would never be removed.

But the work was completed peacefully and without much noise, apart from some minor stone-pelting.
