@wagboy919@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ They don’t lose to the same options either each of them lose to a specific move from Lars. That’s why it’s important to lab matchups with Lars. He also has no strings and most his moves go into stance which is problematic and annoying having to always cancel to due to fear
@wagboy919@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ What you’re explaining is basic Lars knowledge but it’s more laired than that you got to condition the opponent into that. But these moves are annoying because even if you land the hit they still can steal their turn back, these moves beat every option and they lose to one
@wagboy919@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ The Tekken community (not all) seem to have reading comprehension problems because when did I say he was easier?? I said Steve takes less risk. Doing consistent blue bolt punishes with Lars in matches is very hard if you mess up you can get launched, and bad net makes it worse
@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ But you omit the fact that he's got decent lows (not great but good) his toe stomp is i17 it's like Leroy's d3-2, spin into low is strong cause he got the heat engager option you gotta look out for and low in his string, so it's not like he can't open you up
@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ What you just said is a problem for Lars too! Characters like Jun, Yoshi, Leroy, Asuka, Bryan, Law, who have great counter-hit tools, can easily butcher Lars. Flash, cancans, Leroy b1+2 shuts down all Lars options except 1. There's no cutting corners with Lars
@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ I have to disagree on the safety part, respectfully. I think his game plan revolves around getting you to press at the wrong time to land counters with the help of ub3, snake charmer, or the dreaded B1. He lulls you into a false sense of security just to butcher you
@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ I never said he takes no skill, but you called Lars monkey mode, which is pure BS. I guarantee you he takes skill to use, just like Steve but with risk attached, so saying that is offensive to Lars players who put in the work
@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ I never said Steve takes no skill I said he's 0 risk, I'm aware that his strings are hard to do, along with some combos and having no i15 launcher is dumb imo but his game plan is ez I have a 53.6% winrate against Steve according ewgg so yes I know the matchup somewhat
@Zadani54@SEAGERR_ It's sonic fang at round start maybe some tracking but it's not linear, and yes i'm talking about his heat throws if you guess wrong it's a wallsplat, once you gotta press 1 or 2 to break a throw it's a throw game
