@CaryKelly11@mimikmorgan I keep homemade crème fraiche in my fridge year round and we use it almost daily.
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup cultured buttermilk
Whisk and let it sit on the counter for 24-36 hours. Refrigerate.
It lasts at least a week and we put it on everything :eggs, soup, beans
