A new way to play tournaments on a sweepstakes site!
18+ to play, must be in the US or Canada (excl. ID, MI, MT, WA, and Quebec) to play for Sweeps Coins.
Super excited to share that we've received our Made By Apes license! Thanks to @yugalabs for the quick turnaround! Kaz and Captain Sparkle are ready to kick your butt in poker.
Opponent spotlight:
The Destroyer is a cute little bunny rabbit. BUT HE WANTS TO DESTROY YOU. He plays fast and loose and doesn't care who gets in the way. If you can show up with a decent hand, there's a good chance you can destroy The Destroyer.
Opponent spotlight:
Abe's got a hat. He speaks like he's from the 1800s and plays poker like Texas Hold'em wasn't invented yet. He never bluffs, which is probably not great for his game, but sure makes him likeable.
Opponent spotlight:
Our other new opponent added this week, Kaz! He's bored, he's an ape, and he plays the kazoo. Kaz is barely paying attention to the poker going on, so you can probably get away with some stuff. He might be lacking in poker skill, but... no, that's it.

Opponent spotlight:
Happy Mutant Monday! We've got 2 new opponents that just arrived in game. First up, say hello to Cap'n Sparkle! The good Captain is a deadly opponent with a colorful hat, a sparkly vest, and a melting face. He's very aggressive and will go down with the ship.
Opponent spotlight:
Jack is old. Like, really old. He plays poker not for the excitement, but rather for the... well, he forgets why he plays. Sometimes he forgets that he's playing. Jack is by far the tightest and most annoying opponent to play against. He doesn't care.
Opponent Spotlight:
Lucky is a dog. He wants to make you happy and wants to always be playing with you. This makes him extremely loose and passive at the poker table. He's just going to keep calling you, so keep that in mind. Probably the worst opponent you'll face.

If you actually read this far, you're my new best friend. Please head over to our Discord and say "Donald is gross" along with your Rally Cards username as your first message and I'll throw you an extra 5,000 Gold Coins to get started (it's not much, and it's not even honest work). I'll only do this through the 17th just in case people actually read this and I've given myself too much manual work.

Oh, maybe I should actually talk about what Rally Cards is?
A thread, then! One FAQ topic at a time:
1. WTF are Rally Cards?
2. How do I get Rally Cards?
3. How do tournaments work?
4. How does the poker work?
5. What are the advantages to how the poker works?
6. What are the disadvantages to how the poker works?
7. What will the future look like?
8. Wait, what even is a Sweeps Site?
Okay, nobody is going to read all of that, idiot.
8. What's a Sweeps Site?
Sweeps sites use the sweepstakes laws on the books in the US and Canada to offer, well, sweepstakes. The primary currency to play regular social games with is Gold Coins, and they have no value outside of the game. You get some just for signing up, and you can get more for free every day. You can also purchase Gold Coins for USDC (currently our only payment method) if you run out.
Sweeps Coins, on the other hand, are used to play the sweepstakes games on the site. When you win Sweeps Coins, you can redeem them for cash and prizes. You can't purchase Sweeps Coins, though. You can only get them for free, either by buying certain packages of Gold Coins, writing in for free Sweeps Coins, or winning them through freerolls or promotions. This is why you see "No purchase necessary!" all over sweeps sites.
Anyway, we're a sweeps site, and while it's not very web3 of us to only offer games to (most of) the US and Canada, we're doing our very best to do everything by the book so nobody gets in any trouble and we can be as fair and transparent as possible.
