Maxwell has been part of our Nairobi Nursery for longer than most of the elephant orphan herd have been alive. He will never be released – his blindness makes that impossible. But he is protected, and enjoys regular visitors, from the warthogs to wild rhinos that live beyond his gates.

@CandyCats357 Zayre, it was like Walmart but...not as "nice."😅 We had one in Miami in the 60s and 70s, shut down in the 80s. It was on the corner of US1 and 136th Street, next to the Grand Union (only 11 left in NY/VT) grocery store and across from the Goony Golf. Aaaah..the memories.🙂
