@England should seize the moment and reach the World Cup final, says @SBates_people, as Gareth Southgate's side break their penalty hoodoo and set up a QF clash with Sweden. Latest podcast from @FifaWorldCup in association wth @WilliamHill @GerryCox

@dwright75 should have taken the ball to the corner flag, not even tried to score. https://t.co/zbkXOVogpJ

[Duncan Wright @dwright75]

Sweden undone by two shockingly bad decisions. Calm head, should have scored minute before. Then ludicrous challenge to concede free kick. Great finish, mind. #GERSWE #WorldCup

Remember watching Bayern in Munich train before the 1999 CL final going through all their set pieces. Ottmar Hitzfeld told us: ‘they know all our corners and we know all theirs’. Just forgot the one where Schmeichel goes up, I guess!! https://t.co/eo60NmNpMa

[Andy Dunn @andydunnmirror]

Can't help smiling at memory of Scolari inviting media and public to watch a training session between his intended XI and the rest ... ahead of a World Cup final. No need to long-lens a teamsheet there

[Ralph Ellis @ralphellis56]

This is simply disgusting and disgraceful https://t.co/sXs90l5ywm

[Mike Norman @MikkyMo73]

Leeds fans getting very excited about a man who has never managed in England, can’t speak English, has never won a thing, quit after 2 days at Lazio, was sacked after 13 games in his last job, is on his 4th job in 3 years. Sounds perfect. #KnowHowThisEnds
