@MrMiller007_@flatland_sports The article doesn’t provide any evidence. Like most other USA Today articles, it’s bland mayo without any substance. The only thing it refers to is an anonymous source. That’s no evidence, it’s hearsay. An anonymous source wouldn’t be admitted into court.
@DannyGreenhands Tech just blew any chance of getting a conference promotion. Their media market and academic prestige were trash to begin with. Now they’ve let it be known that they will be problematic and will try to skirt rules. Nobody is going to bring on all their problems.
@rozay_7@PeteThamel Programs around the country regularly kick players off their teams for less. It doesn’t become a story because it’s just what you do. By all means, keep him in the recovery program. That would’ve been a great move. But fighting to keep him eligible was all about football.
@KelRobin_5@JoeyMcGuireTTU So it’s the media’s fault that you guys made terrible decisions throughout all this? There was one choice to be made here. You should’ve cut your losses as soon as evidence was presented. Then there wouldn’t have been any controversy or scandal. Everyone would be praising you.
@TheSmoothToad_ You have to remember that you’re still recruiting mothers. Kids still have choices and there are multiple schools offering money now. All you guys did was told a bunch of moms that you’re more concerned about football than you are behavior.
@Barsotta Well you better nurture it. You’ve gone multiple realignment cycles with nobody else wanting you, and now you’ve pretty much guaranteed that neither the Big 10 or SEC will ever take you.
@LoewyLawFirm Well, Adam, it’s because you can’t bet on the games that you’re playing in. Mkay?
It’s not against the law, but it’s against the rules. Are you following?
