House of Hope “Polaris Dawn” in the Philippines is complete! The Polaris team helped fund this newly-built care facility that has a classroom, conference room, playground, and activity area — and most importantly, it can accommodate up to 20 pediatric cancer patients. Thanks to our friend Doc Mae for the update and photos!
The Polaris Dawn crew connected with Doc Mae and the House of Hope through our partnership supporting @StJude. When we visited the Philippines last year to meet Doc Mae and many of her patients, we also delivered Starlink kits to help doctors and children in the Philippines connect with other hospitals around the world to improve their quality of care.
We have kept in frequent touch with Doc Mae since, and we are excited to hear that House of Hope “Polaris Dawn” is now up and running!
