The man who attempts Christianity without the church shoots himself in the foot, shoots his children in the leg, and shoots his grandchildren in the heart.

God established law and order for the health of mankind, but the Bible never once proposes that the lasting solution for the human condition is more law. No, the Bible teaches that what humanity needs is radical heart change.
Science says we need four basic elements to survive:
- Food
- Water
- Air
- Light
Now here's what Jesus says:
- I am the Bread of Life
- I am the Living Water
- I am the Breath of Life
- I am the Light of the world
Science was right, we all need Jesus.

8. Love of God and love of others.
For the rest of our lives, we'll wrestle between living in awe of God and living in awe of the things on earth. But by grace, we've been raised with Christ and can experience victory today.
Local churches carrying out the Great Commission should be our greatest ambition.
Excited to participate in God’s design for his people tomorrow morning.
Best thing going.
Each generation chooses between using the gospel to create a subculture in which to hide within our church programs or living out the gospel as missionaries who turn the world upside down with the Gospel. Choose wisely.
To experience victory over sin, we need a greater love for God than we have for ourselves, and his divine grace is the only thing that has the power to produce that kind of love in us.
Everyone talks about needing a "heart for ministry", but we also need a "spine for ministry" too.
We are called to bow the knee to Christ only, not culture.
A rural church with worn pews, red shag carpet, and a shoestring budget will shine brighter in heaven than a modern, wealthy church that has gutted the Gospel and sacrificed truth on the altar of "relevance." Truth outlasts trends.
There is a great gulf between the Christianity that wrestles with whether to worship at the cost of imprisonment and death, and the Christianity that wrestles with whether the kids should play soccer on Sunday morning.

Paul told slaves in the book of Colossians to serve their masters as service to Christ.
But we feel it’s okay to slander our bosses, pastors, and leaders?
Help me understand.
