Rahul Gandhi should perhaps make “Sorry” his middle name. One has lost count of the number of times he has had to apologise, express regret, or retract his defamatory and irresponsible statements.

The latest instance comes in the defamation case filed by Kartikeya Singh, son of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Rahul Gandhi has now approached the Madhya Pradesh High Court expressing regret, stating that the remarks in question were not even related to Kartikeya Singh.

This raises a simple question: if the statement was not about him, why was it made in the first place? And if it was made without facts, what does it say about Rahul Gandhi’s credibility?

Time and again, Rahul Gandhi makes sensational allegations, grabs headlines, and when challenged in court or confronted with facts, retreats behind apologies and expressions of regret. A Leader of Opposition is expected to exercise responsibility, not indulge in reckless accusations and then disown them later.

For Rahul Gandhi, defamation seems to have become a habit and apologies a recurring ritual. The country deserves better than a leader who speaks first and thinks later.

But the @INCIndia-led govt’s conduct in the Keralam Assembly today is shameful. Despite clear directions from the @KeralaGovernor's office, it chose to play a truncated version of Vande Mataram instead of the full song.

Vande Mataram was not just a song. It was the rallying cry of India's freedom movement. It inspired generations of Indians to unite against colonial rule and fight for freedom.

Today, Congress is more interested in appeasing Jamaat-e-Islami and SDPI’s sentiments than standing up for the values and symbols that united our nation.

This is exactly the dangerous political trend I have been warning about since the Nilambur by-election.

When political survival becomes more important than national interest, such compromises become inevitable.

After nearly *20 years*of occupying the prime government bungalow at *10 Circular Road, Patna*(allotted to Rabri Devi after her Chief Minister tenure ended in 2005), the Lalu family is still refusing to leave — even when given an alternative home.

• 2019 Patna High Court ruled that lifetime government bungalows for former CMs were unconstitutional and a waste of public money. Notices were issued to Rabri Devi and others.

• Nov 25, 2025 (right after NDA’s historic 202/243 seat landslide that crushed RJD): Building Construction Dept allotted Rabri Devi (as Leader of Opposition) a proper alternative residence at 39 Hardinge Road and directed her to vacate Circular Road.

• May 2026: The same bungalow was officially allotted to a sitting minister (Dairy & Fisheries Minister Nand Kishore Ram). Fresh notice issued May 29 directing immediate vacation.

• May 30, 2026: Rabri Devi returns from vacation and declares “Let them evict me by force. I am not going to vacate” — despite having another government house already allotted to her.

This is not about homelessness. This is pure *dynastic entitlement*

The Lalu family has treated taxpayer-funded government property as their personal fiefdom for two decades. They lost badly at the polls, ignored a High Court order, received an alternative residence, and still act like rules don’t apply to them.

*Public assets are not family inheritance. Accountability should apply to everyone — especially those who LOOTED Bihar for years.*
