Satya Nadella చెప్పేదాన్ని సింపుల్‌గా అర్థం చేసుకుంటే ఇది:

ఆయన కోరుకునేది ఒక AI “ecosystem”. అంటే AI వల్ల లాభం కొన్ని పెద్ద కంపెనీలకే కాకుండా అన్ని కంపెనీలకీ పంచబడాలి.

కానీ ఆయనకు ఒక భయం ఉంది.

అందరూ తమ knowledge ని కొన్ని పెద్ద AI models లోకి పంపితే, OpenAI, Anthropic లాంటి కొన్ని AI కంపెనీలు ఆ knowledge అంతా తీసుకుని ఇంకా బలంగా మారిపోతాయి. మిగతా కంపెనీలకు పెద్దగా edge ఉండదు.

దానికి ఆయన చెప్పే solution ఏంటంటే:

ప్రతి కంపెనీ కూడా AI models పైనే depend కాకుండా, వాటి మీద తమ సొంత AI systems మరియు IP build చేసుకోవాలి. అంటే AI ని base గా తీసుకుని, తమ business knowledge తో తమకంటూ ప్రత్యేకమైన advantage తయారు చేసుకోవాలి.

కానీ ఇక్కడ అసలు విషయం ఏంటంటే. ఆ knowledge అంతా కంపెనీ లోని employees నుంచే వస్తుంది.
Employees తమ పని ఎలా చేస్తారో, ఎలా decisions తీసుకుంటారో, real work లో AI ని ఎలా use చేస్తారో ఇవన్నీ AI నేర్చుకుంటుంది. అలా కంపెనీకి సంబంధించిన “know how” మొత్తం system లో store అవుతుంది.

ఒకసారి AI ఆ పని నేర్చుకుంటే, అదే పని ని చాలా తక్కువ ఖర్చుతో replicate చేయొచ్చు. కానీ మనిషిని అలా copy చేయడం సాధ్యం కాదు.

అందుకే కాలక్రమేణా కొన్ని పనులకు employees తక్కువ కావచ్చు. అయినా కూడా smart people, experts మాత్రం అవసరం అవుతారు. వాళ్లు direction ఇస్తారు, systems ని improve చేస్తారు.

మొత్తానికి ఫలితం ఏంటంటే.
AI వల్ల కంపెనీలు కూడా ఇంకా powerful అవుతాయి, అట్లానే big AI companies కూడా లాభపడతాయి.

ఆయన “growing together” అని చెప్తున్నా, ఆ 'together' లో మనం (employees) ఉండకపోవచ్చు 🙂
