Yesterday morning, a TeNA delegation met @Comm_HYDRAA Shri AV Ranganath, IPS, and submitted a petition seeking comprehensive restoration of Tellapur lakes — Mellacheruvu, Chelikunta, and Vanam Cheruvu.
In a highly encouraging development, HYDRAA officials today visited all three lakes to assess the ground reality. TeNA Green Army accompanied the team and shared detailed information regarding pollution, blocked feeder NALAs, drainage gaps, and restoration requirements.
We sincerely thank @Comm_HYDRAA Shri AV Ranganath garu for the swift response and commitment towards protecting water bodies. With HYDRAA’s support and leadership, we are hopeful that Tellapur lakes will soon witness complete rejuvenation and long-term conservation. @revanth_anumula@NtvTeluguLive@TV9Telugu@namastetelangan@bigtvtelugu@v6velugu@abntelugutv@eenadulivenews@timesofindia@TimesNow@htTweets@the_hindu@ZeeNews@TOIHyderabad
@MC_Cyberabad@ZC_SLP Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, Patancheru Circle, has issued a mandatory directive to all gated communities for source segregation of garbage.
All communities are requested to immediately implement segregation of wet & dry waste at source and ensure residents strictly follow the guidelines.
Wet waste composting, reduction of single-use plastics, and eco-friendly waste management practices must also be adopted for better environmental sustainability and community hygiene.
@revanth_anumula@iamkondasurekha@CPCB_OFFICIAL@Collector_SRD@tspcbzlwgl Chelikunta Lake is being polluted by untreated sewage from multiple sources including labour camps and construction companies. Fish are dying and residents are suffering from unbearable foul smell, posing serious health risks.
Authorities must act NOW
@revanth_anumula@battivikramarka@tssouthernpower@Bhatti_Mallu@tgspdcl For over 2 years, Tellapur residents have faced daily power cuts with no relief. A substation foundation stone was laid 3+ years ago—yet no progress. Even today, there’s been no power since morning. Authorities stay silent while residents are squeezed for taxes. This is blatant negligence and unacceptable.

Grateful to Sakshi Daily for featuring an inspiring article on TeNA.
Heartfelt thanks to every resident joining hands to make Tellapur a safe, secure, and harmonious community. #TeNA#Tellapur#CommunityFirst
@PMOIndia@revanth_anumula@KomatireddyKVR@DamodarCilarapu@TelanganaCS@TelanganaCMO@MC_Cyberabad@ZC_SLP@TOIHyderabad Thousands of Tellapur residents have been consistently urging both past and present governments to complete the decade-old #RR30Ext. The prolonged delay is resulting in frequent road accidents, traffic chaos, and serious health concerns due to dust and poor road conditions—yet there is no response.
There is a growing concern that the project is being leveraged primarily for high-rise approvals, rather than addressing the safety and daily convenience of tax-paying citizens. While efforts seem focused on revenue generation through hoardings and permissions, even basic necessities like pothole repairs are being neglected.
We strongly urge the authorities to act immediately and prioritize public safety. How many more incidents before action is taken? God bless Tellapur residents #Tellapur #RoadSafety #CivicIssues

@PMOIndia@tg_governor@revanth_anumula@KomatireddyKVR@TelanganaCS@TelanganaCMO@MC_Cyberabad@ZC_SLP Decades of delay on RR30 Extension have turned it into a serious public hazard for Tellapur residents. Potholes and unchecked construction dust are causing severe health risks, and lives have already been lost due to this neglect.
Hundreds of crores of public money have been spent, yet the road remains unusable for taxpayers—serving mainly as a means for builders to secure high-rise building permissions rather than public benefit. The absence of a proper drainage system has forced residents to live in unsafe, unhygienic conditions.
Is this how one of the richest municipalities should be treated?
We demand immediate action and accountability. Enough delay—deliver basic infrastructure now.

Today we witnessed something truly touching. A few young children from our community were seen sitting near the Mellacheruvu lake area in Tellapur, patiently picking up plastic waste and cleaning the surroundings. They were not asked to do it. They simply felt responsible for their environment.
Seeing children take such effort for our community is both heartwarming and humbling. When our little ones care so deeply about keeping our surroundings clean, it reminds us that we, as adults, must do better.
Let us pause and reflect — if these children can spend their time cleaning plastic waste, the least we can do is ensure we do not litter in the first place.
We sincerely request all residents:
• Please avoid throwing plastic and garbage in open areas or near the lake
• Dispose waste responsibly and encourage others to do the same
• Support and appreciate the spirit shown by these young children
Their small act carries a powerful message for all of us.
Let’s not allow their effort to go in vain.
Together, let’s protect our environment and build a cleaner, greener community for our children. 🌿
