I view this as a trial for Tesla's long-term goal with car ownership:

Pay X amount per month, have EVERYTHING included - car payment, charging, insurance, maintenance, self-driving. The whole thing.

You get a Point A to Point B entertainment machine that you don't even have to drive, and you never have to worry if anything goes wrong. You can also add it to the Tesla Robotaxi fleet to make money on your behalf.

With a 2 seater Cybercab, selling at millions per units per year, a person can probably pay $500 a month at most and have a do-everything transportation unit.
