Interesting to see Arsenal receiving insane levels of chat for *checks notes* winning the premier league

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@DannyAarons Warra trophy for Spurs

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@HarveyDiamonds I love that you think we looked at this don and thought no no, we cannot sign him because we want Neto. I mean is it a missed opportunity? Maybe (though Raya is also great). But come on, we didn’t sign Neto in preference lol

@_ArsenalTeam Actually do not want to see Jesus go to a lower prem team at all- way too talented just ruined by injuries. Get this man to Roma or Milan or another Italian giant where he can play walking football and ball out.

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@_thfcalex Ye fair Tottenham players selected played a lot better

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@APresserV2 Nice preview for what martinelli is about to do next week

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@Plettigoal @picturealliance Only makes sense if MLS is moving back to midfield - Hincapie is way too good to be just a backup LCB, imagine he is backup LCB AND fights Calafiori for LB with MLS taking over as backup midfielder + making the bench due to ability to cover LB and midfield.

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

So to fix our 2-year long creativity problem we have signed who exactly ? #arsenal #ars

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@nonewthing This is basically the most positive take you could have about us today and the only one that is hopeful for the next few weeks

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@clivepafc Yes instead he should come and play for us, a team that… oh yer needs someone to be our creative hub whilst we play conservative footy…

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@ArsenalAcademy Didn’t know @ZacDjellab played for our u21s

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@UTDRico8 Assume you are speaking to fellow united fans looking at that backline with Bruno and Casemiro shielding ?

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@now_arsenaI Appreciate frustration re forward addition but I think it’s clear that Berta operates differently to Edu - doubt there will be long public sagas, seems that the media only get real wind once the club are pulling the switch. Just have to hope they execute

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@InvertTheWing I mean that’s just lazy criticism - Arsenal clearly need RCB depth. Tomi is a figure of people’s imagination at this point, Cala and Kiwior are LCBs, which leaves timber and White to cover RCB who are also our only right backs and both have injury issues.

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@FabrizioRomano @HandofArsenal If true - my suspicion (I’m no footballing accountant) is that Arsenal have some financial wiggle room this financial year - hence quickly wrapping up back ups (Norgaard, Kepa, Mosquera?) but not Liverpool levels of room so will then make the big money moves post July 1st.

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@Clinton_AFC Clint my friend - how easy do u think it is to shift a bloke with one leg ? Lots of buyers do u reckon? Yes no you’re right I too am outraged Berta is rejecting all the clubs falling to their knees to sign a man who’s ligaments are attached by paper clips

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@akarsenalnews Its this inability to have a middle ground opinion that makes this app so stupid - It’s not tremendous, it’s solid and works well provided the 2 money saving signings enable the 2 big ones we need.

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@leegx82 Firstly the bloke obviously wanted Barca (clearer run to first team + besides tell me a time in the last 30 years that wouldn’t be the case)

Secondly, 25 mill most likely has to be paid upfront which cuts the budget for our actual positions of need …

[Tom @RamblingGunner]

@mavers_16 @leegx82 Well quite famously city didn’t get a suitable backup to their world class DM, he got injured, and they then fell off the title race completely so I’m interested by wtf ur on about here
