Why has @MyHaldirams started giving multiple tiny little sachets of imli chutney with their samosas -it's unnecessary plastic waste & so much effort to extract the chutney. And whr is the green chutney?? Haldirams need to rethink their samosas. Old fashioned samosas are the best.
Our "society" makes me sick to the stomach, and it's appalling how desensitised we are as a community. Shobha De sums it up in this interview.

What a Swiss–French visionaries imagined 78 years ago still puts us to shame. Le Corbusier and M. S. Randhawa showed what real city planning looks like.
India doesn’t lack land, climate advantage, or natural resources it suffers from poor planning. Across most of the country, except a few well-designed cities and pockets, we treat nature as a hurdle instead of an asset.
Shade-giving native trees are replaced with decorative plants in the name of “modern development.” Roads get wider, concrete keeps expanding and then we wonder why cities feel 5–10°C hotter every summer.
We don’t need more concrete jungles.
We need smarter, climate-conscious cities.
The real question is:
Are we building for the next 5 years… or the next 50? 👍🏻

Congratulations #Gurgaon#Gurugram we did it again with sustained waste fires construction dust we were India's most polluted city in March 2026; 4 Haryana cities in top 10: CREA report

If you drive without a helmet, camera will detect.
If you drive without a seat belt, camera will detect.
If you overspeed, camera will detect.
If you use your phone while driving, camera will detect.
They detect every mistake people make, and you get a challan. So why can’t the same traffic cameras detect the potholes on the road?
How much fuel is #India burning every day just because of poor traffic management?
Bad signals, bottlenecks, illegal parking, bad diversions and weak enforcement are causing massive national loss.
Traffic management is not just a civic issue.
It is an economic reform.
Climate implications know NO boundaries. A war in the Middle East today means: Stronger storms in Africa
Rising seas in Asia
Failed harvests in Europe
The poison doesn’t stay local. It circles the globe. Every bomb dropped is a vote against our children’s dinner plate.
This is the new normal in Dehradoon. Goons first assaulted a boy & then tried to run their car over the locals who came to help. The system is rotting if these goons have zero fear of the police.
one thing that a lot of countries have solved is how to make roads
look at these roads from a tiny town in Thailand
in India we have not solved this
haters will say that it is a touristy place in Thailand and that towns don’t look like this but this is actually a small town..
and Thailand gets a decent amount of rainfall
is it really that hard to make good roads that last long? or is it just corruption?
if it’s not corruption, then how come countries like Sri Lanka and Thailand has solved it?
