Language Arts teacher & aspiring book blogger. Working my way through as many books as I can in btwn grading papers and dreaming of the day I will own a kitten.
Trying to grade at my parents' house:
Me: Reads half of a paragraph & starts to type feedback
Mom: Why won't this app work?
Me: Answer mom & type 2 more words
Mom: What'd you think of the new kindle?
Me: trying to grade, mom
Mom: oh, ok (2 min later) look at this cat picture!
@HaileyEdwards Agreed! I was a little wary at first...not ready to face the separation anxiety of no more Nevada/Rogan-centered books, but I liked Catalina. I feel much better now haha
The 2018 version of, "if a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around to hear it..."
"If you vote on Election day, but don't post a picture of your sticker, did it really happen?"
Whenever boyfriend remembers to do a chore without me asking, he becomes "pod boyfriend." I'm glad he's decided to laugh at my skepticism and adopt the nickname instead of being insulted. #adulting
New book is calling my name...laundry is calling my name...organizing my backpack is calling my name...pretty much everything except my lesson plans is calling my name #teacherproblems#adultingfail
@HaileyEdwards Oh there's an awesome giggle moment at the end with the two of them. But I do like them too- can't resist a man/male/fae/whatever you want to call him who's willing to rip up his shirt since other sanitary products don't exist
@HaileyEdwards I've done that in rereads. I go through each chapter for my first read, but I've read others where I'll just follow certain one's chapters/arcs. I have to admit that Aelin, Rowan, and Aedion are my favorites
@HaileyEdwards That was exactly my main issue; ironically, that's the aspect I'm writing about in my review right now. It's a lot like Avengers: Infinity War. You get sucked into one of the storylines then it's temporarily ripped away from you
