I like art but my friend ADHD makes it hard to learn how to do it we’ll formally. But recently have enjoyed make up for this shiny reason. #ActuallyAutistic#actuallyadhd
the stereotype with #ActuallyAutistic people is that they are usually interested in STEM/ science and math and whatnot, but I'm wondering just how many of us are actually into the creative side. like art, writing, painting, crafts, etc. the media usually doesn't cover it
Ps: I am new at Twitter. Feel free to block and I will continue to not follow you, so my life will be ok. You spoke to me and I got something out of it. So thanks!
And that's great, but we're not having a meaningful conversation. At all. You're rudely threading in my mentions. You're two tweets away from being blocked.
So you're just replying to me to make your and your nine followers feel good.
@arianneswork I am trying to learn. Seriously. Full stop. Let’s truce and talk? I can see why offensive. Similar vein of thought but different perspectives. That’s how communication works.
@arianneswork How the outside world sees us? I can respect that. And understand. I would be for all just being ASD and tolerance. Get what you need to like yourself and earn a living wage. And be seen as human as anyone else.
@arianneswork I honestly think we are speaking the same thing? I find Asperger post 2013 to new cases offensive because it’s ignoring the full spectrum of people involved and tends to make us a smaller community and more vulnerable. You all don’t like the mild to severe because it’s based on..
@arianneswork But it isn’t in the DSMv which is what I am talking about. For a reason. That’s all I am saying. Because it is a wide range. Aspergers is equivalent you are retarded. Awesome. Good for you. Glad to know you can’t identify with those with lower iqs. That’s privilege
@Shei_laVie@arianneswork Clearly. It’s why I asked. Moving on is dismissing a real issue. Aspergers is a functioning label. Mild is one. I say I am autistic and people are amazed I am not mute. It’s sad. My point was that y’all were dismissing what is out there and contributing to discrimination.
@arianneswork You understand I am autistic and would have been Asperger’s right? I can read and see people hurting others while feeling alone. We are smart and can be better together to help others feel less freakish for just being theirselves. I thought you were too?
An example of how supplements can be pushed on you as the way to go even though there is a disclaimer that specifically says it’s not claiming to do anything for your condition.
If their is an *, always read the fine print. #pmdd#ActuallyAutistic
Glad he liked my tweets and then blocked me just because I said he wasn’t right and had peer reviewed sources. Women aren’t bots cause we don’t agree and I don’t need to mask my voice cause he felt bad. #ActuallyAutistic
@swish4fish @arianneswork I am sorry you can only send aggressive tweets & not provide logical & balanced view. Next time don’t attack if you don’t have a foundation that isn’t just about how you feel especially as a professional helping others accept themselves. Keep doing good. I believe you mean well
@swish4fish @arianneswork You aren’t being sincere I see. Sorry about that. I want the world to accept me as me which isn’t a demure masking woman. So, respectfully, leave what you think of me out of it and give me data.
@swish4fish @arianneswork I am not disputing other countries. But I do think using that term if not ones original diagnosis is othering and helps continue siloing among us due to intectual ability which is bad. People discriminate autistic adults and seeing the spectrum may save a life. May save a life
