1.4 Billion People
1 Person leading their hopes and aspiration.
My PM, My Pride.
@narendramodi Ji’s name will be etched in golden letters so future generations know how he turned around Bharat to once again become a Punyabhumi and a VishwaGuru.
Some evenings entertain you.
Some evenings expand you.
And then there are rare evenings that remind you what human potential looks like.
Tonight, I had the privilege of attending “Valiant”, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s full classical symphony, a landmark moment in Indian music history and the debut of “Overture”, a new orchestral work that offered yet another glimpse into the Maestro’s relentless creative spirit. At a stage in life when many celebrate past achievements, Ilaiyaraaja continues to create new frontiers.
What moved me most was not merely the brilliance of the composition, but the way one individual has spent decades building bridges between worlds. Between East and West. Between ragas and symphonies. Between the familiar comfort of film music and the profound depths of classical orchestration.
The first movements of the symphony showcased a composer in conversation with the great traditions of Western classical music, while remaining unmistakably rooted in musical sensibilities. The second half reimagined some of his beloved compositions through the language of a full orchestra, revealing layers and dimensions many of us had never heard before.
On his birthday, before an audience of over a thousand mesmerized listeners, the Maestro once again demonstrated that true mastery is not about repeating what has worked before. It is about continually creating new possibilities.
The evening left me with a deep sense of gratitude. Not because I witnessed history being made, but because I witnessed what becomes possible when discipline, curiosity, courage, and imagination come together over a lifetime.
The music did not merely fill the auditorium.
It opened doors.
It carried me to places within myself I had never visited before.
For a few precious hours, the Maestro’s symphony took me by the hand and gently led me into inner landscapes I did not know existed.
A historic night for music.
A reminder of what art can do.
A celebration of a life dedicated to expanding the boundaries of human expression.
Happy Birthday, Maestro. Thank you for showing us that greatness still has new notes left to discover.

Some places don't just receive you. They rearrange you.
That is what Tirumala does. Quietly. Without announcement.
In the 15th century, Annamacharya stood on these same hills and sang what five centuries of pilgrims have since felt in their bones:
‘Kadagiyenugu Mida Kaayuyendokate Pudami Suanakamu Mida Polayuyendokate
Kadu Punyalanu Paapakarmulanu Sarigaava Jaadiyu Shri Venkateshvarunaamamokate’
‘Sun shines equally on an elephant and on a street dog. For those who does virtuous deeds and those who does sinful deeds, the only saviour is the sacred name of Shri Venkateshwara’. (Brahmamokate, Charanam 3 — Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya (1408-1503))
He was right then. He is right now.
Grateful for the darshan. Grateful for the climb. Grateful for the grace that makes no distinction.
Om Namo: Venkateshaya
Govinda. Govinda 🙏
Some years begin with noise.
Some begin with meaning.
This Puthandu feels like the latter.
From the Panchangam to the pooja,
from the flavours on the plate to the quiet moments of reflection,
there is a gentle reminder in everything we do.
Sanatana Dharma does not ask us to escape life.
It teaches us to experience it fully.
Sweet. Bitter. Unexpected.
And still, with gratitude.
Even what I wear today carries that story.
Hand-spun. Hand-woven. Naturally dyed.
Crafted by a community of women living near a reserve forest,
about 300 kilometres from Bengaluru,
where just three weeks ago, we had the privilege of inaugurating a school.
Some threads do more than clothe you.
They connect you.
As Sri Parābhava Varudam begins,
grateful for these connections,
and for the journey ahead. 🙏
This week, Bharat celebrates the New Year. Not once. But many times over.
Baisakhi. Bohag Bihu. Vishu. Pohela Boishakh. Puthandu.
Different regions. Different traditions.
One Mesha Sankranti. One shared rhythm.
A civilisation that stays rooted, yet renews itself every year.
Puthandu Vazthukal.

Puthandu is not just a new year.
It is time, tradition, and truth aligning again.
As the sun begins its new journey,
we step into Sri Parābhava Nāma Samvatsara,
another turn in an eternal cycle that has guided us for centuries.
Different names. Different regions.
One shared rhythm.
From Puthandu to Baisakhi,
from Vishu to Bohag Bihu,
Bhārat celebrates not just a new year,
but a timeless way of living in harmony with nature.
May this year bring clarity in thought,
balance in life,
and joy in every home.
In every beginning, there is tradition.
In every tradition, there is wisdom.

Our India celebrates every festival with a full heart. Not because we all believe the same thing, but because we understand that someone else's deepest joy deserves our deepest respect.
Happy Easter to you and yours.
Some skills don't disappear. They wait.
Today, I walked into a room full of people who still believe that the hand that holds a pen holds power. And for a few hours, under the masterful guidance of Maestro KC Janardhan, we remembered what it feels like to let letters breathe.
Not typed. Not auto-corrected. Written.
There is something deeply human about Hand Lettering. Every stroke is a decision. Every curve, a conversation between the writer and the world.
I am grateful to the Montblanc India team for curating this beautiful experience and for bringing together a wonderful community of people who still celebrate the written word.
In a world racing toward the next notification, it felt radical to slow down, pick up a pen, and simply write.
And I intend to keep writing.

Good Friday is the day faith looked like failure.
And yet two billion people across the world still gather in its memory.
Some stories refuse to end.
You don't have to be a believer to be moved by a man who, dying, chose compassion over condemnation.
Good Friday belongs to everyone willing to sit with that.
The world is obsessed with power. Our dharma is obsessed with the right use of power.
Hanuman had it all and placed every ounce of it at Ram's feet.

2624 years of celebrating a man who proved that the most powerful human being is the one who needs nothing.
We remember. We celebrate. We aspire.
Jai Jinendra. 🙏

Ram Navami celebrates more than a divine birth.
It celebrates a vision.
A vision where justice prevails.
Where leadership is accountable.
Where compassion shapes governance.
This vision has a name.
Rama Rajya.
A society where Dharma leads, and people flourish.
May the ideals of Sri Rama inspire us to build a world that is fair, compassionate and courageous.
Jai Shri Ram.

Six years ago, India did something remarkable.
At 7 a.m. on 22 March 2020, the country paused. Streets fell silent for the Janata Curfew. A nation of 1.4 billion people decided, for a moment, to stay home.
#OnThisDay
Two days later, on the evening of 24 March, the nationwide lockdown was announced.
None of us had a playbook for what came next.
COVID-19 was not just a virus.
It disrupted families, livelihoods, education, businesses and the fragile routines that quietly hold everyday life together. It tested our patience, our compassion, and our resilience.
And yet, in the middle of uncertainty, something powerful emerged.
Doctors who did not go home.
Teachers who reinvented classrooms overnight.
Volunteers who delivered food where hunger waited quietly.
Neighbours who checked in.
Citizens who chose responsibility.
At @balutsav, we too turned all our attention to responding to #Covid19, because extraordinary situations demand extraordinary measures.
Looking back today, what stays with me is not the fear.
It is the solidarity.
Greatness rarely arrives with a headline.
More often, it appears as small gestures by ordinary people who decide to respond to the needs of society.
Six years later, I feel deep gratitude for how we, as a community and as a nation, navigated one of the greatest human challenges of our time.
And it reminded us of something simple but profound.
We are more connected than we think.
Six years later, I’m curious.
What is the one moment from March 2020 that you will never forget?
Was it the silence of the streets, getting used to masks and sanitisers, the anxiety, or the unexpected kindness you witnessed?
Share your memory in the comments.
Your story might remind someone just how powerful collective humanity can be.

ஜனனி ஜனனி… ஜகம் நீ, அகம் நீ.
At the lotus feet of Sri Mookambika Devi at Kollur, where even the four Vedas and the five elements bow in reverence.
With the serene Kodachadri Hills standing nearby, the sacred mountains where Devi is believed to have first revealed her presence… truly Mātru Kr̥pā.
Grateful for the blessings of the revered chief priest, Dr KN Narasimha Adiga Ji, and the kindness of Shri Gururaj Shetty Gantihole Ji, who accompanied us for darshan this evening.
Blessed beyond words.
When the Mother calls, gratitude is the only response.
🙏
To the women in my life
my mother, wife, sister, teachers, colleagues and friends.
Each of you has shaped the person I am today.
Through your strength.
Through your wisdom.
Through your kindness.
You remind me every day why creating opportunities for every girl to learn, grow and dream matters so deeply.
Because when a girl is empowered, the future changes.
I owe my existence to the women who shaped my life,
and my purpose to the girls who will shape our future.
Happy International Women’s Day.
Not everyone comes to Tirumala to ask.
“God is born in all of us.
Grows in all of us.
Is all of us.
If one chooses Him, one goes where no one else can go.”
— Tallapaka Annamacharya
Om Namo: Venkateshaya! 🙏
And when we choose Him, truly choose Him,
We walk where fear cannot follow.
