At Manipal Academy of Higher Education, we are proud to be the first university in India to host a Nature Conference. In his video message, @dr_sharathkrao , Vice Chancellor, MAHE, shares his thoughts as we look forward to hosting the second edition this October, in collaboration with @SpringerNature.

From October 14 to 16, we will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, and policymakers from around the world for the Nature Conference: Meeting the Challenge of Infectious Diseases in a Changing World, in collaboration with Nature Medicine, Nature Microbiology, Nature Health, and Nature Communications.

The challenges we face—from emerging pathogens and infectious diseases to antimicrobial resistance—demand solutions that are interdisciplinary, collaborative, and inclusive.

At MAHE, we believe that progress in global health must go hand in hand with equitable access to knowledge, innovation, and healthcare. This conference brings that principle to the centre of the conversation, creating a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
